This is going to be hard to read. It is very raw! It’s even harder to write. Remi came in for boarding on Wednesday so his human dad could have back surgery, and recover. He was a happy-go-lucky, normal, healthy, Labrador
with loose p**p 💩
The short story is he started having bad diarrheal Friday and Saturday, but still playing and acting normal. This morning, Remi was not himself …I’ve been in contact with his owner every day. I called him, and said he needed to get to the ER as soon as possible. Remi then started to vomit blood in my kenne. I rushed him to Metro, and was thankful he was alive after the amount of blood he threw up.
After fluids and running tests, it was determined that either a cancerous mass had ruptured, or an ulcer ruptured, along with a stroke. Remi was 7, and the ER doc said it would be best to help Remi to heaven. I was with Remi because his dad couldnt be. I held Remi, I told him how loved he was. I did not leave Remi until his soul left his body.
I want you all to know that I would do the same for your dog if you couldn’t get here. I treat all of your dogs like theyre my dogs. I love them just the same!
Today, I am not ok…
RIP sweet Re*****on!
