The acclaimed training and certification programs on Animal Assisted Play Therapy® are unlike anything else. It all starts with the Level 1 workshop, which is 4 days in-person with lots of hands-on opportunities, preceded by 2 online courses that are included as well. Here are the locations and dates for the Level 1 coming up for the last half of 2024. All Instructors are Certified in AAPT, and as Instructors, and they all are professionals in mental health or allied health while also holding animal behavior credentials - a truly experienced and highly qualified group of dedicated professionals!

Our Level 1 AAPT workshop is unlike any others in the field. It is designed just for professionals involving animals in their work, with a heavy emphasis on hands-on skills that build reciprocal relationships with animals, animal well-being that is always paramount, and excellent skills, knowledge, and tools for mental health, allied health, and educational professionals. AAPT is for all ages of clients/students, and with applications for multiple species! Workshops have limited seating so sign up early (and get the early bird discount). Full info at iiaapt.org.
