Hello Wesley Chapel! Gorgeous Growlers is underneath new management and ownership. We now have more than one groomer and can accommodate more appointments.

We are kennel free and focus on quality over quantity. We keep the salon as stress free as possible for your pup. Our groomers are patient, kind, and understanding. We will not rush your pet through the grooming process.

Danielle is our lead groomer/manager. She has been grooming over 25yrs. Danielle is an avid dog person and shows her dogs in conformation as well as doing sports events with her dogs when not working on your pups. She has both rescues and show dogs. Danielle also used to be a veterinary assistant and is very adept at handling dogs with health issues/behavioral quirks. Danielle focuses on higher end haircuts, custom haircuts, and is able to do breed trims and scissor work.

Alissa has been grooming for 5 years. Alissa is always striving to learn new things and is soaking up all the knowledge she can. Alissa loves grooming Schnauzers! Alissa is very adept at cute and functional haircuts for all of the active pups in your lives! When not at work, she is always looking up new techniques to keep your pups fresh and clean!

Lana is our groomer in training. Lana is usually the first person you will see here. Lana loves doing outline trims and all double coated dogs! Does your pup need a good bath and deshed? Lana is the groomer for you!

Here at Gorgeous Growlers, you will see the same faces every time you come in. So, you know your pup will be comfortable with every member of the staff.

Jesse was having a blast after he stole my comb off of the table while I was still grooming. The maker of the handle on my comb thought he was hilarious too and asked if they could share the video! He definitely gave us a good laugh that day!

Gorgeous Growlers is happy to announce that we are now able to accommodate new clientele! We found a new groomer to join our team! We will be able to take your wonderful furry children as early as next week.

Just a reminder, we are kennel free and to make sure that your pup is comfortable around other people's furry children. There are always other dogs here.

Underlying Issues

Wripley has volunteered to be our model for today.
Recently my groomer Nathalie who is very concerned with your pets health asked me some very important questions about injuries posted on groomers forum.
The 1st issue was a pet that was matted. Soon after arriving home the pets inner front leg was red and on fire. She was curious why this might happen…….

When a pet is matted and a groomer attempts to dematt it sometimes the brush can rub against the skin and cause brush burn. Another issue is that the pulling can cause irritation and cause the pet to be uncomfortable. These two things should resolve on their own. However, if your pet licks at this it may turn into a hot spot quickly. Your pet has many bacteria in their saliva. This can happen quickly. It is very difficult to witness and does require veterinary intervention
