This is Raleigh, the absolute sweetest little old man.❤️ sadly, he had to be euthanized on 6/20/24 because he was in so much pain. 🥺
Rest in peace in Raleigh, you were such a good boy and brought so much love & happiness to everyone around you. Condolences to the family, Curt & Susan, he will be very missed! 🐾🪽🌤️

I’ve been a professional groomer for 4 years and I offer more than just your standard grooming services; I provide a stress-free, crate-free, loving, and caring environment where your fur baby is truly treated like family!

I use positive reinforcement to build trust & confidence within your dog so that they can associate spa day as a GOOD thing!! Because grooming is a necessary part of your pets life to help keep them healthy and happy. 🙂

Here’s a little about myself and how I do things at Barks & Bubbles Grooming Spa

About me :
Hi, my name is Sarah, I’m 27 years old and I have always had a passion for animals. I grew up around a variety of different pets (Dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, pigs, etc..) So I guess you could say I’m very comfortable around animals! I have 3 fur babies - a Great Dane, Lab mix, & a cat. I have several years of experience with handling animals and I am CPR certified. I began my grooming career back in 2018 where I worked as a bather, learning how to properly bathe a dog. Many dog baths later, lol, I finally decided that I wanted to go to school and learn how to groom. I graduated from Dirty Dogs Spa in 2020 and became a certified professional groomer! Since then, I’ve worked in a few other salons before deciding I wanted to work from home and do my own thing! I love working with animals and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

How it works :
**The pets safety & comfortability are my TOP priority!!**

(Optional) - I recommend bringing your dog in the day before their scheduled groom for a meet & greet and introduction to the grooming process. This may help your pet to feel more comfortable coming in the next day.

SPA DAY!
We’ll discuss all the grooming details and decide what will be best for your pet.

I try to reduce stress on the pet by only taking one at a time; this way I can put all of my focus on that pet to ensure their safety and build a trusting relationship so that future grooms can be associated as a positive experience. In addition, for some dogs, being crated in an unfamiliar place can induce anxiety; that’s why I offer a crate-free environment!

I use a lot of positive encouragement and treats so that they can become more comfortable & confident over time with grooming. I also just really enjoy seeing happy pups!! 🥰

- Feel free to bring your own dog treats! Remaining treats will be returned at pick-up.

- I keep records on all my P-awesome clients!

**Matting - there is an additional charge for matted coats (price depends on severity).
If matting is too severe I WILL NOT pull & tug on your dogs hair, as this is very painful, I will have to shave them down.
I will ALWAYS put the pets needs, safety, & well-being above vanity!!
If I decide shaving down is the best & safest option for your pet, you will be notified so you know what to expect at pick up.
