BLACKBERRY UPDATE:

LUCKIE here, giving you the latest on BLACKBERRY.

He is back and not a happy camper about the party hat around his head. To insult to injury, mom added that “cow” soft cone around the rigid one because he is pawing at the plastic cone. Of course, he cannot.

He will have an 8-yeak recovery WITH buy the party hat. He ate like a champ.

He lost 10 teeth and still have 11!

He ate tonight! He is doing very well.

Morning! LUCKIE here!

Mom drove BLACKBERRY to the specialist early this morning. It’s surgery day. 😷

He is the first this morning to go under to have his broken jaw repaired and the teeth cleaned and extracted. Mom knows already that he will lose a few, per the dogtor.

Please pray for BLACKBERRY so surgery goes well. He is a very cool dude ya know… Mom said the cost will be between $3300 and $5500, depending on what they need to extract and do to repair his jaw.

Ok! Now, let me introduce you to NUNU!

NUNU was surrendered because her owner went to a nursing home and the family were too very busy to take her and her Shih Tzu brother. 😳

SSSSOOOOO, they ended up in rescue. NUNU has a very big right eyeball and had no vision in that eye. The dogtor recommended to remove it. Since that happened, she is the happiest, sweetest, funniest Chihuahua girl EVER! 🥰

She weighed 16 pounds when she was surrendered and is in the process of slimming down. She plays, runs around, eats less 😱😱😱 and she will be a star on the runway very soon 😁😍.

NUNU is 10 years young… you read that right “young”. Chihuahuas live long lives when they are as healthy as she is. Don’t be deterred by the number. She plays with younger than her… what am I saying? She IS still young! I am a couple notches older than NUNU and mom says I wear her out. 🤣. She loooves belly rubs (who doesn’t!) Her potty manners very good.

Well HI! LUCKIE here!

I am coming to you with a bunch of news!

Firstly, several Yorkies got adopted yesterday. SKITTLES, LEONA, SUGARPLUM, KITTY, LEROY.

And, guess what! CALEB and PINEAPPLE got chosen too! They found the home with another dog as active as they are. They wear me out! 🤯

Now… PRINCETON, SNICKERS and MATILDA, MARLIS and DUNCAN are still available.

BLACKBERRY: we found out he has a broken jaw. It was caused by a massive abscess 🤢that pressured the bone and dental disease. It broke the jaw bone! 😱 He went to see the dental specialist and he will have surgery to repair the jaw fracture and will clean the teeth at the same time, on 02/13/25. Mom was told his recovery will take 6 to 8 weeks… on soft food 🍱… lucky dog!

BLACKBERRY is a good dog. He is mellow, sweet, and he never tries to steal my spot on the couch😁. That is a big PLUS!

In the following post, I will introduce to a very sweet, awesome, happy and pretty girl… her name is NUNU! 😍

Hi all, LUCKIE here!

Time for a TOBY update… The little guy went to see the dental specialist and guess what…

His dental procedure is scheduled for Feb. 27! To add to the good news, here’s another good news… HE GAINED WEIGHT! He passed the 4 pound mark.

He will feel so good when these wobbly teeth are out. 😃

Eye infection: HEALED
Ear infection: HEALED
Gum infection: not gone but much better with antibiotics
Weight: 4.3lbs!

You can see the sparkles in his eyes now!
