Abby and Brea are at CPE (Canine Performance Events) Nationals in Illinois with my mom and dad competing in agility (Abby) and scent work (Brea).

Brea competed in scent work with my dad, here's his summary from their first nationals.

So proud of to my loyal teammate, Brea, her excellent performance at the Canine Performance Events - Canine Scent Sport (CPE-CSS) National Event in Springfield IL this past weeka. Brea and I competed at level 5 and had qualifying times in 8 of 10 runs finding a total of 38 of the 40 hides over the two days. On Wednesday we had a NQ in exteriors, 10th in containers 1, 10th in containers 2, NQ in vehicles and 3rd in interiors. On Thursday we had a perfect day with a 5th in interiors, 5th in vehicles, 28th in containers 1, 8th in containers 2 and 5th in exteriors. Our combined times placed us 1st overall for interiors and 3rd overall for containers.

This girl right here has slept with her crate door open the past two nights! She nudges me about 5 am but goes and gets her chewy when I tell her it's not time to get up.

Morgan and I took Ruah & Brea to the Haunted Overload to support the Cocheco Humane Society fundraiser. Lots of kids, dogs & people in costumes. They both did great, even on the spooky walk! A couple creepy dolls even got kisses! Very proud of our young pups

Two sides of a quiet puppy. "Helping" pull up the carpet while I stack wood... napping in her crate in the bedroom all by herself. She does have a bigger crate in the living room with us.

It's never too late or too early to start training your dog!! This series will introduce you to the training we do with our dogs and how we start off our puppies. Abby & Brea's first night in a hotel 💯 success, even the thunderstorm didn't bother them. Abby was not a fan of being left in her crate while we went to breakfast though. Fortunately for everyone else our room is just down the hall so she didn't bark long. It totally solidified my decision to stay on site of the GA fair grounds in a tm travel trailer. Less stress for us all.

Moving day! All moved out of the old digs and into the new! Box to pen 🎉

Mazi and Brea supervised for a bit, then all the dogs got to come down and visit!!

Puppies figured out the crate real fast and their momma wanted in too 😂

Feeding time is looking different these days!! Momma Maggie is still nursing but for shorter and shorter bits and the pups are on puppy mash!! (Formula, water, pureed food)

One of our goals is to have a litter that can eat independently from their bowls without stealing or being overly interested in their sibs' food, starting a lot younger this litter with individual feeding! Wish us luck!!

Soon the puppies will be on 5am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 11pm feedings 😳 good news is they sleep better through the night with full bellies 🎉

Maggie is spending less time feeding the babies now that we are weaning them. They had ground puppy food mashed into the formula this morning. We will start reaching out to schedule visits over the next few days. Please reach out by pm if you would like to be added to the schedule.

Busy & long day for Pawtuckaway Labs (and their humans!)!

Abby and Brea had an agility trial where they had a lot of fun and success!

Mazi & Koda got to chill with less dogs around 😂

Momma Maggie is realizing she's not the only one feeding the puppies and can take a snooze on the couch ❤️

Puppies are loving formula and the puppy pile crash afterwards (didn't even notice the toys I gave them 🤷🏼‍♀️) 💪

We are trying a new potty training method with the tray and pine pellets in the corner. They already try and go in certain areas, this may help them and make the mess easier to clean. If all goes well it'll help with their transition to forever homes as they will know the pine scent already.

Some big updates!!

1) Our eyes are open!! (Tho we can't see much and the lights are too bright still)
2) Our ears are almost open & we can hear the hoomans and our Momma ❤️
3) We are standing and toddling (almost walking- we're hilarious to watch)
4) We like to play a little- bat a paw at a sib, bite em, or try and catch their tails
5) We are trying to find our voices
6) We can lick now so we tried some formula today (sorry for the mess on our blanket 🫣)

7) We are almost ready for visitors!! (Hoomans will share more on that soon)

The application link for our current litter of puppies is posted below. Anyone that is interested in one of our current puppies; 2 female & 4 male are encouraged to fill out the application which is a google form. We also encourage people to fill it out for upcoming litters as this is how we keep our waiting list.

Pawtuckaway Labs are from proven championship conformation and agility lines. They also hunt, fish and do nose work. Hadley has his AKC Conformation Championship, Maggie's mother has her Agility Dog championship and her sister Brea has titles in nose work at only 18 months of age.

Lots of folks asking how Maggie is doing as a "momma", see for yourself!!

She's super sweet, by far the snuggliest momma we've had (she may have joined me on the air mattress for a bit this morning 🫣😂), and honestly just loves to snuggle her pups!!

For a momma that doesn't live with our "pack", she normally lives down the road (another true Pawtuckaway Lab 🙃), she's done amazing accepting this role!! She doesn't even mind when her Momma Abby, sister Brea, Aunty Mazi or Uncle Koda, take a peek from the stairs!!
