Our friends are Abaco Shelter in the Bahamas 🇧🇸 will be needing our help as they build a more secure space for the Potcakes they rescue and care for .

📣 Friends of Abaco Shelter, dog lovers, and animal advocates everywhere — big news is coming! 🐾

The Abaco Shelter has acquired 5 acres of land to finally build the secure, permanent shelter the potcakes so desperately need. Right now, we’re caring for 59 dogs in about 26 pens — but with your help, we have a goal to expand to 100, create safe runs for exercise, and host vet clinics in a better equipped environment.

In just a few days, we’ll be launching our official GoFundMe campaign to kick off Phase 1: Infrastruce Groundwork, to raise capital to build a perimeter fence to secure the property. This first step will allow us to begin real progress toward a lasting safe haven for the stray and abandoned dogs of Abaco.

Stay tuned for the launch — we’ll need your support to spread the word far and wide! Together, we can make this dream a reality. It's going to take a village!! ☮️❤️🐾
