We are a raw feed breeder. All of our dogs and puppies are fed raw meat fruits and vegetables. It is the best diet you can provide for your pup for a healthier longer life. Learning your local food sourcing can be cheaper than buying kibble dog food. Additionally we provide some puppy culture:
* Start potty training at 4 weeks old

We provide a go home package with food sample, toys, treats, litter blanket, 30 day sample product flea/tick (when provided by vet), AKC paperwork when applicable, vet letter and vaccine records. Please check with your veterinarian for your state requirements outside of Maine. OFA Parentental Heath checks:
DNA tests completed for PRA/PFK and DM. Exams for Hips/Elbows

We dock tails to standard hunter cut (2/3rds of tail removed) or bird hunter cut (1/3rd of tail removed) and remove dew claws. They receive three rounds of dewormer at 2, 4, and 6 weeks old. We also deworm the mothers. I have a family history of breeding springer spaniels. Our springers are very loving and loved very much. They sleep with us every night and cuddle with us as we watch TV. They love to play outside and will continue to chase a ball for as long as you will throw it...They love to play. Our puppies have gone to many homes all over the country for family pets, service dogs for people with disabilites, hunting dogs as well as other hobby breeders. Since I've started breeding on my own over 10yrs ago I've learned so much about my families, have become friends with many and keep in close contact with most. I've made some great new friends. The family of people who own springers are an amazing bunch. I get texts, letters and emails all the time from my buyers thanking me for such a great dog. That they can really tell how much love we gave them in their first 8 weeks of life and they thank me for doing what I do and providing such great dogs for so many families. Are the parents health checked? We have completed OFA standard requirements for ESS breed and filed with AKC where applicable. Do you have a State Vendor License:
Yes. It is required in the state of Maine to sell animals. All Maine Breeders should have a Vendor License with the Department of Agriculture. Do you have a contract? Yes we have a contract signed at pick up lining out the terms of agreement to adopt one of our puppies. How many puppies does she usually have? Zoey 6-7 puppies, Stella 8-10 puppies. How many Male or Female does she average a litter?
1-4 females and 1-7 males. How is priority given for picking a puppy? Priority is given based on order of deposits received. What if I want a Liver/White female and there are none left or she doesn't give birth to as many as projected? Do I get my deposit back? I will return your deposit if you choose not to pick from remaining puppies. Is there any family history of Eye, Hip or Rage Syndrome? There is no family history on either side for any disorders. Do the parents have any Ear issues? No my dogs are very clean. I rarely have to clean their ears and check them often. Nor do they have any flea or tick issues. We recommend Seresto flea and tick collar. What if I want my puppy for hunting can we have the tail docked longer? Puppy must be picked out the day it's born as tails must be docked within 72hrs of birth. Hunting style would be leaving 1/3 of the tail (about a 4-5"). Long hunter cut leaves 2/3 of the tail (about 8-9”)

Will you send out updates and pics? Yes I try to send out/post pics weekly to show growth progress. Do you have references from previous buyers? Yes I have references upon request. Do you ship? Due to the additional hefty cost to the buyer and emotional trauma that it would cause the puppy. I do not offer shipping. Do you sell to Canada? Yes, but you are responsible for researching and making sure all customs rules and regulations are met. Failure to do so would result in repossession of puppy by me at your cost.
