Just got this fantastic picture of Tux's yearling son VQ Tuxedos Jedi. I just posted a few days ago that he won Region 4 Champion in SHIH Open Stallion class as a yearling! This boy has amazing bloodlines with Tux as his sire and out of a Mirage V ++++// daughter. His owner has him for sale to the right home which has to be someone willing to take on promoting his amazing bloodlines. He is Homozygous Black and bred to be a champion stallion In Hand and Dressage. If you have any interest, PM me and I will put you in touch with his owner.

This just happened today....Tux's yearling son VQ Tuxedos Jedi won the Region 4 Championship in the SHIH Stallions Open class with a total of 5 in the class. Amazing for a yearling to do this!! This boy has awesome breeding with Tux as his sire and Mirage V as his grand sire on dam line. Congrats to owner Judy Maxey

Not too often you get to say that the person that started your horse under saddle is now on the US Olympic Team. Endel Ots was the first person to work with Tux under saddle! So happy for Endel. What an achievement! Go team USA!!

While I was busy at the Region 10 show another Tux foal owner was busy with her 2 year old Tux son at the Medallion / Region 13 Show. She had a great show! Congrats Athena Elaine Thickstun.

Altus earned two blues in Open Stallion Halter, and first place for SHIH Stallions open at the Medallion. 2nd place Open Stallions SHIH under a hunter judge at the Preshow, then Region 13 Champion Dressage Type Stallion, and Reserve Champion Hunter Type Stallions.

Was a super fun Region 10 Arabian Sport Horse Show! Not only did we have Seven of Tux’s foals there, we also got Tux’s trainer Jamie Lawton back in the Dressage show ring with one of Tux’s son and showing In Hand with two of his sons. Jame as usual didn’t disappoint! Was so fun to see him showing again. I also rode one of Tux’s daughters to her first championship under saddle in Intro Level Dressage so that was a hoot for me, especially since this show was our first time together under saddle. Here are the results for all of the Seven Tux kids. AMAZING to see them all do so well. Congrats to all of their wonderful owners / trainers.

So one of the most AMAZING things about being a stallion owner is watching your stallion's GET succeed. Tux has Definitely NOT disappointed in this space with multiple Foals winning Regional and National Championships / Titles. I've met so many wonderful people through my breedings to Tux. So this weekend at Region 10 Sport Horse Championship show we will have SEVEN Tux kids there competing in both In Hand and Under Saddle. I know the competition and it's tough so I am excited to see how things go. No matter who wins though I can guaranty we will have a good time which is what it's all about! So having said that GOOD LUCK to all showing this weekend. I look forward to a very fun and competitive show. :)

So I haven't posted on riding Tux for awhile. Just had to say how much FUN this boy is to ride, especially now that I am learning more about dressage riding with the help of Keegan O'Brien. It's amazing how subtle differences in your body affect how horses react. I am getting much better with consistently getting results with Tux now that I am more consistent with my ques through different use of my seat, hands, etc. Today we were doing flying changes and canter departures from walk and halt better than we have ever done them. Thank you Keegan!! I so wish I knew more about dressage when I was in my 20's but hey....better late than never and how many people are lucky enough to have an FEI level horse to "practice" on. Tux is one in a million for sure. He has been so tolerant of me as I learn and practice on him.

Tux's foals continue to ROCK IT!! HF Its Miller Thyme came away from the Arabian Region 11 Sport Horse Show with FOUR Regional Championships in SHIH and a Reserve in SHIH Showmanship. Congratulations to her owner Ashley Hoffman Riehle on another VERY successful showing of her beautiful pony Milly. I believe she now has NINE Regional Championships and Three Regional Reserve Championships. Love this mare who will soon be making her debut under saddle. Way to go you two!

So fun to watch Tux's foals be so successful. This is Destiny N Thyme and her owner Twyla Ray with their loot from the Arabian Region 11 Sport Horse Show this last weekend. This pair continue to win over and over. So very proud of these two! Way to go!!

It's a GIRL!!! Tux's newest daughter was born early this morning. This is our 3rd Friesian cross and all are wonderful. She is definitely a keeper with a very bright future!! Congrats to owner Robin Schnader and her daughter Holly Nicole Schnader!

Life is so hard sometimes and so surreal. I posted on 5/1 to celebrate my 7 year old gelding's birthday (Smokin Thyme ABA+) not realizing at the time that his sire Mirage V++++// was euthanized the same day due to cancer. Although I never met Mirage V in person, I have known his owner Beth Conti for years now and know how loved he was. When I first met Beth and learned of Mirage V and his accomplishments I thought WOW we need to cross his bloodlines with Tux's. Beth was so gracious to work with me to get a breeding of Mirage V to Tux's full sister Essence of Thyme ABA and as a result we got Smokin Thyme ABA+. Smokin has been an amazing boy from the get go...winning National Champion & Reserve National Champion in SHIH at 5 years old in 2022. He is an amazingly sweet boy and always in your pocket not to mention very athletic with great conformation. Definitely a favorite at the boarding facilities he has been at. In addition to Smokin, we crossed Mirage V with Tux via Mirage's beautiful daughter Miakoda C resulting in a wonderful mare born in 2019 who is rocking the show world....her name is Tuxedo N Lace ABA+/ (owned by Katy Holcomb). At Five Lacey is proving to be quite the competitor and has a super bright future. Lastly we crossed another amazing Mirage V daughter Ammiraj with Tux in 2022 resulting in an exquisite 2023 black c**t named VQ Tuxedos Jedi (owned by Judy Maxey). He will debuting in the show ring this year and I expect he will show the quality that these 2 stallions produce.

Being a stallion owner myself I know all too well how these boys worm their way into your heart....there's just something about Arabian stallions that is hard to explain until you've owned one. So having said that, I want to express my deepest sympathy to Beth and Mirage's caregiver Cindy Morgan. Thankfully Mirage V will live on through his Amazing Foals!! RIP Mirage V++++// .... you will be missed.

Hard to believe this gorgeous boy is 20 today. Time sure flies! He is still as handsome and fun as ever and I am still totally enjoying riding and spending time with this wonderful stallion! Oh and at 20 he is as potent as ever so if you are still contemplating a breeding please get in touch. Regardless though, I just want to say how proud I am of this boy and what he's accomplished as a competitor and now as a sire! Love you TUX!

Got a new picture of one of Tux's sons today. This is Knight Thyme Jazz (a.k.a. Jasper) who is just turning 7. I haven't heard from his owner in several years so am very happy to get some pictures of him. She is enjoying trail rides with him and hoping to soon get into endurance riding. I always see Tux's eye and expression (not to mention several other great things) in his foals but I honestly think this boy looks the most like Tux that I have seen so far.
