Hours of Operation for the remainder of the week:

Wednesday, December 4th: 8:00am-12:00pm
Thursday, December 5th: 8:00am-6:00pm
Friday, December 6th: 8:00am-6:00pm
Saturday, December 7th: 8:00am-12:00pm

If you need to schedule an appointment or any medication refills, please call our office at 803-679-5001 during our business hours.

We want to let you know that we intend to remain open during our normal hours of operation. However, moving forward, we will be sharing any updates to our hours on a weekly basis to keep you informed of any changes.

To Our Valued Clients,

We want to update you on some changes at Hitchcock Animal Hospital. While we fully intend to remain open and continue caring for your beloved pets, we will be adjusting our hours of operation moving forward for the time being.

We are currently working on finalizing these adjustments and will keep you informed with updates as soon as decisions are made. Your patience and understanding mean the world to us during this time, and we remain committed to providing the exceptional care you’ve come to expect from our team.

For today, we will be open from 8:00am to 6:00pm to see patients and refill any medications. Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 4th, we will be open from 8:00am to 12:00pm. We will resume normal operations on Thursday, December 5th, and will be open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

To Our Valued Clients,

Today, we will be closing early to allow our team to regroup and discuss the best ways to move forward together as a hospital and community. Our commitment to providing compassionate care for pets and their families remains unwavering, and we plan to resume regular operations. We still have two full time doctors on our staff that intend to continue seeing patients during our business hours.

We want to take this moment to reaffirm our mission of supporting both the animals we treat and the people who love them. While we cannot comment on individual circumstances, we stand for compassion, understanding, and kindness in all situations.

Introducing Megan🌼
Megan has been a tech with us for a year and a half. She is currently in school at AU and will one day be a veterinarian! She has 2 pups and her favorite animal is an aardwolf! We are so thankful for you and all you do, Megan💙

Next is Hanna🌼
Hanna started with us 5 months ago as an assistant and is currently training to become a tech! Hanna is also a student and would one day like to be a veterinarian . Her favorite animal is a horse! We are so thankful for you and all you do, Hanna🧡

Tori is a tech that has been with us for 7 months! She will be graduating from USCA in December with a degree in biology. Her favorite animal is a horse and she loves her chihuahua, Happy! We are thankful for you and all you do, Tori💚

Next up is Kenzie🐾
Kenzie has been an assistant with us for 3 months. Her favorite animal is also a horse! She would like to one day be a veterinarian!

Last but not least is Jess🐾
Jess has been with us for 5 months. She adores getting to know each of our clients and their pets from reception! Her favorite animal is a koala and she enjoys reading in her free time! We are thankful for you and all you do, Jess💜

Sam has been with us for a year and a half. She is a receptionist as well as a tech. Sam is a dog mom to 2 pups! She enjoys spending her free time cozied up with a good book or outside in nature! Her favorite animal is a dog! We are so thankful for you and all you do, Sam💛

Last but not least is Alexis✨
Alexis is also a receptionist and tech! She has been with us for 9 months. Her favorite animal is a highland cow! Alexis loves spending time with her 2 daughters and 2 dachshunds! We are so thankful for you and all you do, Alexis💜

🦃Holiday Hours🦃

Hitchcock Animal Hospital has adjusted hours of operation this week due to Thanksgiving! We will be closing early on Wednesday, November 27th at 4:00pm. We will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and will open at 10:00am on Friday, November 29th.

If you need any prescriptions refilled for your pets, please give us a call at 803-679-5001, and be sure to pick up any refills before we close on Wednesday.

Sarah is the definition of a fuzzy friend and is always a pleasure to see💜 Sarah is a Chow-Chow and is still growing! She comes in regularly for weight checks to ensure she gets the correct preventative care for her size!🐶
