We’re so honored to be out tonight listening to the awesome talents of T.R. Stewart with all the folks at the Twisp chapter Fraternal order of the Eagles. They generously hosted a fund raiser dinner for Trusting Spirit. What a fabulous evening! Fun, food, entertainment and really great company. THANK YOU Betty Wagoner and the folks at the Twisp Chapter F.O.E.

A Midnight Ride
Midnight had a special visit from Stephanie Stibal this past weekend. Midnight, a Friesian cross, was one of the five horses Trusting Spirit rescued last December as part of a larger seizure and rescue effort that took place in Spokane, Wash. Since early spring, he has been in training in Manson and now lives in Chelan. He's become a beautiful, trusting, confident and splendid horse. And his adoption is about to be final. Stephanie took this opportunity to be the first one of his rescue team to ride him. What a treat for both of them.
Dreamer, the resident training horse, got a chance to stretch his legs Labor Day weekend with Jesse Fore. Way to go, Jesse. Keep him sharp!
It's About Midnight . . . .
Take a look at this stunning beauty. He arrived at Trusting Spirit in December 2013 along with five others taken during a seizure and rescue effort in Spokane, Wash.
Midnight, as he was later named, arrived mangy, underweight, malnourished, lice infected and terrified of people. This is how he looks today, captured on Aug. 2 while being ridden by Mike Stokes, a horse trainer out of Manson, Wash. He's been undergoing rehabilitation and training at Stokes Ranch since mid-May with the hopes that he will be successfully adopted.
You will read more about Midnight's success story as he gets closer completing his work with Mike. And yes, he already has someone interested in adopting him. So stay tuned . . .
Welcome to the world, little guy!
Day 2 of the colt watch continued as onlookers “ooooed” and “awwwed” at how adorable our newest resident is. He is a gorgeous chestnut brown with some underlying red. He’s got a little black in his mane and a black tail, really long legs and incredibly curious eyes, as you’ll see from todays’ photos and video. He’s simply precious.
Charlize Clementson is stepping up her training with Dreamer and spent time lunging him this weekend. As our congenial little training horse, Dreamer is great to work with and loves spending time people. And he and Charlize have certainly forged a friendship.
