Meet Klondike! Currently thriving in a foster home, Klondike is a big, clumsy, affectionate, puppyish oaf. Weighing in at 76 pounds of brindle goofiness, he’s basically a fuzzy freight train when he gets the zoomies! Klondike plays hard and loves even harder. He adores making new friends with people and is the ultimate snuggle buddy when it’s time to relax. He also enjoys a good game of fetch in the yard.

Klondike has a rowdy, boisterous play style with both people and other dogs, so he’d do best in an active home that can embrace his "bull-in-a-china-shop" charm. He’d love a doggy playmate who can match his enthusiasm and wrestling energy!

This blockheaded sweetheart is housebroken, crate-trained, and takes treats and toys gently. While he has a curious streak and a knack for occasional mischief, he’s a good boy who’s been doing wonderfully in the routine of a home.

Meet lovable youngster Michael! At around 1.5 years old, Michael is a sweet, friendly goober who would love to be someone's bestie and partner in crime.

Michael recently landed in a foster home, where we have learned:
✅ He's totally housebroken. He took about a day to pick up on the routine but then was solid!
🐶 He’s dog-friendly and would likely enjoy the company of another dog with an active play style.
😴 He’s crate-trained and sleeps completely through the night, and is content being crated during the work day.
🏃 He walks pretty well on leash and makes a good running buddy. He'd love to help you get your steps in! He just occasionally stops to pick up and carry an interesting find, like a good stick.
😆 He still has some puppy-ness too him and can be exuberant when he's over the top. He's working on settling down more and more each day.
🧑‍🎓 He’s smart! He knows sit, paw, down and touch and is a greater listener. He's eager to please!

Overall Michael has been a great guest and has lots of potential. He’s just a handsome, silly, playful puppy! He currently weighs 46 lbs.

Adorable little wiggle-butt Sarita would love to meet you! This pint-sized love bug is ridiculously adorable. Her whole body wags when she meets new friends because she's so excited! Sarita is a youngster at around a year old, and she's a convenient size at around 34 lbs to be a lap dog.

Though she has some silly youthful energy, she has a pretty go-with-the-flow attitude. She's game to try all sorts of new things together! She is equally happy going on a run as she is piling into a lap for snuggles and hugs. She also has fun playing with other dogs in play group, but can come on a little strong so needs another dog that can tolerate her energy level. Sarita is working on housebreaking and is crate trained.

Meet Cleopatra! Cleo's story is one of resilience and love. She came in as a very thin stray, clearly having endured a difficult past as a mama dog forced to breed and then abandoned. Despite it all, Cleo's spirit shines bright, and she’s ready to embrace a future full of joy and affection.

This happy-go-lucky girl loves to play fetch and is great at entertaining herself with toys. She's also learning how fun it can be to play with other dogs and is making wonderful progress! Cleo is housebroken, crate trained, and has excellent manners.

At 3–4 years old, Cleo is the perfect mix of playful and easygoing. She’s looking for a home where she can continue to thrive and shower her new family with love.

This lovable, wiggly lapdog has been waiting for a home since July and thinks it’s finally his turn! At 48 pounds and about 2 years old, Aslan is a happy-go-lucky pup with a zest for life and a silly, sweet personality. He loves hikes, playtime, snuggles, and romping with other dogs, though he’d do best in a cat-free home.

Aslan’s sleepover experience shows he’s housebroken, crate-trained, great in the car, and quick to pick up on routines. Whether he’s playing or napping at your feet, Aslan wants to be part of the action—and your lap.

Winona is a plump, wiggly love bug who’s both playful and snuggly! Living in a foster home, she’s proven to be spunky and personable, happily switching between playing with toys and flopping into her signature sploot. At 70 lbs, she still thinks she’s a lap dog!

Winona is housebroken, knows basic commands like “sit,” and loves being with people. She can be crated or left alone without being destructive, though she’s chatty if you’re home and not with her. She thrives on a consistent routine and has been social with other dogs but may need a tolerant buddy to adjust. She’ll need a home without cats.

Meet gorgeous brindle girl, Ember! This cheerful, long-legged beauty likes to split her time between playing and snuggling. She enjoys a good romp around the play yard with her favorite toys, or a long walk or hike through the woods. But she also likes to make plenty of time for cuddling up. She enjoys a good full body lean against you, and is a big fan of belly scritches. Ember is around a year and a half old so she is still a young adult, but she seems to be past the craziest part of the puppy stage. She consistently keeps her kennel clean, so we guess she's housebroken. She's active and bright, quick to pick up on guidance. Ember has also been social towards other dogs so far. Miss Ember weighs 57 lbs.

Beauty Valerie has one of those personalities that just lights up a room! She is a fun-filled delight, a total goofball in the best way. She's energetic but sweet, as excited for toys as she is for cuddle time. She is working on mastering the concept of fetch, and you can tell she is a bright dog who is a quick learner. She loves when you play with her, but can also keep herself busy too. She has also been playful with other dogs in play group. She also enjoys stretching her legs with our run club but again, she likes plenty of timeouts for snuggles! She's quite polite about crawling in your lap. Valerie has already mastered sit, she's picking up on more tricks, plus she seems housebroken. This pretty girl is about a year old and weighs 46 lbs.

Chablis, one of the Cleveland kennel’s longest residents, is wish to land in her forever home this holiday season 🙏

Chablis is a 2-year-old, 45-pound bundle of love and low-key energy. This curious girl adores sniffing her surroundings and delights in playtime! In the play yard, Chablis has the cutest habit of tossing toys for herself, then proudly showing them off to her play yard neighbors.

Chablis is friendly and sociable, greeting other dogs with a loose, wagging tail and a happy hello. She’s also quick to respond when called, happily trotting over for snuggles and affection. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys both relaxed play and cuddle time, Chablis might be the perfect match!

Meet the cute little sq**rt, Spencer! At around a year old, Spencer is still pretty much a puppy. He's a nice, playful, silly young dog who has a lot of love to give. He has moments of bouncy, giddy exuberance but overall is a pretty sweet young fella who is very tuned into his people. He's attentive and eager to please, and all around sociable and lovable. He is pretty easy to walk on leash, and he is ready to show off what he knows for treats. Spencer has also been great with other dogs in play group, where is a regular for play time.

Spencer loves a lot of things, but being cooped up in the kennel is not one of them. He's ready for a fun-loving life with his own family! This lovable pup weighs 33 lbs.

Eduardo won’t let a little cold ruin his adventures! ❄️

Currently living in a foster home, he has shown that he is a big sweetheart and well-mannered house guest! Eduardo has clearly had some training in the past as he knows sit, paw, down, stay and come so far. He is very tuned into his person, and also is quite food-motivated, making him quick and eager to learn even more. He is also fine being left alone in a crate or a room of his own, and he is housebroken. Curious but attentive, playful but easy-going, Eduardo makes for nice company. He is definitely a cuddler! He's also athletic and adventurous, making him a great companion for getting out and about to explore. Eduardo has potential to live with other dogs so long as he has time to get comfortable, but he is looking for a home without cats. Eduardo weighs 59 lbs and is estimated to be around 3 years old.

Meet happy, affectionate Jed! Jed is a dog who will make you feel like a million bucks everyday because he's just so excited to see you. Jed loves making new friends and he practically melts for pets. He might plonk himself right in your lap, or lean his whole self against you, but he wants you to know that he is a cuddle pro.

Despite his unique adorable face, Jed has received very little interest, but he's ready to find a place of his own. At around a year and a half old, he's a playful and silly and delightfully derpy. He'd gladly fit into an active, fun-loving family. Currently staying in a foster home, he lives with multiple other dogs and he's great with them, so he has the potential to live with a canine companion. Jed also loves toys and likes to show them off to you. He's eager to please, is housebroken, and already knows how to sit and is attentive to his person.

Say hello to one of the goofiest goobers at the kennel: Cheerio! Cheerio is a happy gremlin who is just bursting with life. He's curious, bright and engaging, eager to make new friends and entertain them with his antics. Cheerio is a total hoot in the play yard, galloping around and showing off his favorite toys. He seems to like making people laugh, but he's also content to self-entertain. And though he's a silly boy, he's pretty gentle and easy-going in his mannerisms. He's dainty taking treats, knows how to sit, and consistently keeps his kennel clean. He's also been friendly and social with other dogs so far. Cheerio is a dog who will keep you smiling everyday! He is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 46 lbs.

Theo is a laid-back companion who enjoys some activity, like hilarious zoomies, but is just as content being a homebody. Whether it’s binge-watching shows or reading a book, he’s happiest just being with his people.

Housebroken, crate-trained, and quiet, Theo knows multiple commands and is food-motivated for easy training. He’s working on leash manners and would love a fenced yard to romp in.
