Cute kitten picture to mitigate the stress!
We are beyond annoyed with our new website "hosting" company. Nothing but problems that they can't seem to fix. So please bear with us again as we are now switching to a new host. In a few days our website will be completely down and we will also be unable to receive emails. We can be reached here through Facebook or at 800-706-7081. Please be patient and we will update when our website is completely down, and then back up!
Please bear with us as we work through some website issues. We switched hosts a month ago and are having major problems receiving emails from the new website. It's been frustrating but they assure us they are working on it. If you need us, please email us directly at [email protected].

Some of you may remember our post about Tinkerbell, who ran into a house on Easter Sunday and then gave birth to four kittens. We are sponsoring Tinkerbell’s spay and the Kitty daddy’s neuter. We also promised to sponsor the four kittens’ surgery before they go to their new homes! They are growing fast and are so stinking cute! They will soon be big enough for pediatric spay/neuter and have homes waiting for them.
Buddy is soon to be neutered with a donated certificate from our Sponsor A Spay program. His prayers have been answered!
This sweet baby was rescued by an elderly lady who already had two pets of her own, spayed and neutered of course. While trying to find a home for Kitten, she knew she needed to spay her. Thanks to our recent grant from the LuLuMa Foundation, we have donated a certificate for Kitten's spay.
May the spay/neuter force be with you!
Snowball and Strawberry don't look too worried about not being spayed yet, but their family sure was. Even though they are inside only, they knew recurrent heat cycles are detrimental and a nuisance. They also know the girls could slip out during a heat cycle and come back pregnant. Due to disability, the family qualified for donated certificates from our Sponsor A Spay program. No heats, no worries!
It's been a bit of a prize fight for this family to afford to have Rocky and Apollo neutered. The expense was out of their budget. But they kept looking for options and qualified for donated certificates from our Sponsor A Spay program. We are grateful to Second Life Atlanta for their grants that make helping champs like Rocky and Apollo possible.
Rest easy, Joe! You will soon be a neutered fella! Joe's family qualified for a donated certificate through our Sponsor A Spay program. They are so relieved that they can now afford to have Joe neutered.
Yesterday we posted Tinkerbell and her newborns and here they are today. Happy, growing, thriving. Three already have homes when they are weaned. SpayGeorgis is coordinating with the family who is caring for them to have them all altered as soon as they are big enough!
Tinkerbell was a friendly stray that literally walked into a house, made her way upstairs and into a closet, and proceeded to give birth to four little tinkerbells of her own. An Easter surprise! This family has been taking care of this new feline family and reached out for help spaying Tinkerbell as she is already back in heat!!!! They are keeping her inside and a certificate is on the way to them thanks to our grant from Second Life Atlanta.

It was another busy week at SpayGeorgia! All of these beautiful kitties are part of multiple cat situations. All will be spayed and neutered with SpayGeorgia certificates to prevent further litters.
Catia is an adorable and sweet kitten who is very lucky. She was found two weeks ago in the middle of the road...sitting by the bodies of her siblings who were hit by a car. Catia was unhurt and was scooped up by a young lady who took her home and intends to keep her. Catia will be spayed with a SpayGeorgia certificate when she is big enough for her surgery. She will have a wonderful indoor life. Happy Tails, Catia!
We had a great week. Here are pictures of a few of the dogs and cats that are being spayed or neutered with a SpayGeorgia certificate.
Caturday In The Park....My cat Misty showed up as a stray with three kittens over three years ago. Before she wormed her way into our hearts and our home, she liked to accompany me on my walks in the park. Everyone needs a walking buddy.

Scarlett was spayed after her puppies were weaned. We are proud to once again help with donated certificates before there are any OOOPS litters!
As anyone who has done rescue knows, your heart is usually bigger than your wallet. These 10 dogs were rescued by one person from one horrible situation after another. All needed some type of veterinary care. That didn't leave funds for spay/neuter. With four females and six males, we all know that several accidental litters were just waiting to happen no matter how careful their humans are. All 10 dogs will be spayed and neutered with donated certificates thanks to our Spay Pets for the Military program. SpayGeorgia had funds to cover these 10 dogs, but what about the next group? Please consider a tax-deductible donation to help us prevent litters in situations such as this.
Thanks to our Spay Pets for the Military Program, SpayGeorgia is able to donate 10 certificates to the family of a disabled Marine who are fostering 10 pit/pit mixes from a hoarding situation. They have been neglected and over bred. That ends now. They are receiving veterinary care and will be spayed or neutered before being placed in loving homes. We would not be able to help without our grants from Second Life Atlanta and private donations to our Spay Pets for the Military program.
Here are a few of the pets we have been able to help through our Spay Pets For the Military Program. Watch only if you can stand the cuteness!
