I will be leaving every day at 2:30 to pick my children up from school. All dogs must be picked up by that time. To keep your dog most comfortable and safe in the salon, no dogs will be left unattended in kennels. On Fridays I will return at 3:30 for my afternoon appointments.

As always, I will give you an estimated time on when your pup is finished. Then a text message 20-30 minutes before they’re done so you can arrive just as they’re finishing. This will prevent them waiting for pickup in the kennel.

Thank you everyone for picking up and dropping off on time, and helping me keep the salon a one on one cage free experience for everyone. 🫶🏼🐾

I just want to take a moment and thank all of my wonderful clients for being so understanding when it comes to me being a mama. When you support a small business you’re not only supporting their dreams and what they love. But their family and what they love even more than life. A lot of you have been here from day one and have watched our boys grow with us. And that is truly so special to us.

I was grooming pregnant. I groomed after they were born. And once I felt they were growing up way too fast I opened my own salon so I could still enjoy the little things with them. That was 2017 when my youngest just turned 3 years old and my oldest was starting kindergarten.

Now I have a 4th and 6th grader! But I don’t miss much thanks to all of you I can have my career doing what I love and still be very present in their lives. I schedule dogs around dr appointments, sports, vacations, school activities, etc. and each and every one of you are so accommodating. Thank you a million times from the Stevens family! 🥰🐾

Just a reminder to please rebook your next appointment before you leave. This will assure u get on the schedule for the day and time u need. School starts back in August. During the school year my schedule is more tight. I will not be working weekends just Monday-Friday.

To appropriately accommodate my already large clientele, I am no longer accepting new large breed clients starting now. I will not be accepting any other new clients starting September first.

If you have a small or medium size breed and would like to try my services out please contact me before September 1st. to be put on the schedule.

Fern got her first busy buddy toy today and we are HOOKED can’t wait to try more!

stimulation toys are wonderful to keep your dog busy and happy. Because let’s face it. We can’t throw the ball or hike 2 miles constantly 😆 and your pup needs the entertainment to prevent boredom, anxiety stress and depression. All in which could lead to behavior challenges.

Research shows that music has a calming effect on dogs. It helps with separation anxiety, stress, and even aggression. So of course these calming melodies are playing in the salon to help keep my clients relaxed 😌 🐶

Please please please. Do not leave your dog in the car. Cracked windows do NOTHING. 4 cracked windows does NOTHING. If you can’t take your dog inside with you please leave them at home. Your car reaches 15-20 degrees hotter than the outside temp within 10-20 minutes! The heat and lack of air circulation inside of the vehicle prevents your pup from panting properly and cooling themselves.

I wish there were signs like these in every parking lot EVERYWHERE. Share if you feel the same!

“Your groomer Jackie” uses “Happy Hoodies” because protecting those wittle ears are very important.

Happy hoodies also reduce anxiety and stress during the drying process by noise reduction and calming compression. I’ll always invest in wonderful tools to help keep your pups safe, calm, comfortable and stress free during their one on one groom 🥰

I am a one on one cage free salon!
Here’s what to expect.

Your appointment time is the time your dog’s groom begins. As soon as u come in your pup goes directly on the grooming table and gets all of my attention.

Before you leave I’ll give u an estimate on how long the groom will take and your price.

During your dog’s groom I focus on them only and they focus on me only. Im the only human in the building and they’re the only dog. I evaluate their behavior and cater to their feelings while pampering them and keeping them as calm and comfortable as possible.

As your pup is finishing up I’ll text you 20-30 minutes before they’re finished so you can head to the salon for pickup.

Once your pup is finished you should be arriving and they can leave the table and go straight home.

If you’re a bit behind your pup is welcome to roam the salon and hangout/play with me until you arrive.

Please arrive for pick up on time. Appointments are scheduled one after the other so when your pup is finished another is coming in shortly after. Arriving late could result in your pup having to wait safely in the kennel once the next dog arrives.

I strive to keep my salon a calm, cage free atmosphere. This routine has shown great success since I opened in 2017 in reducing stress, anxiety, and fear in your pups. It has built great relationships with them and made grooming a fun relaxing process. Thank you everyone for dropping off and picking up on time and helping my every day schedule run smoothly so I can cater to each and every one of the pups individually!

It’s that time of year I make my 4th of July 🇺🇸post in hopes that July 5th, 6th and so on won’t be flooded with scared lost dogs. 😭

It’s our responsibility as pet owners to secure our dogs. To be sure they feel safe.

💥Do not take your dog to watch fireworks. There’s other events they can go to for socializing.

💥Be sure your dog is indoors.

💥Turn a tv or music on to help drown out the booms

💥Be sure they have access to their “safe place” such as their kennel or bedroom. If u won’t be home u can provide something with your scent like a shirt you wore.

💥Consider calming chews or calming medication from the veterinarian before the day.

💥Be sure your pets have id tags or microchips in case.

If you’re shooting fireworks yourself, be considerate. You can still have a blast without making it go on all night. Be considerate of our War Vets and scared Pets 🎆🐾
