Where's My Sister?!
We moved the mamas and babies in with the rest of the herd. Georgie and Lily went first before Dixie and Arlene... but somebody didn't like being separated from his big sister and he had to voice his concerns over it. (He's a very vocal foal - it's adorable!)

Nothing Like A Little Mist on a Hot Day!
Every summer, Tipperary Kiss Me Kate enjoys it when we spray a little mist her way to help cool down. She doesn't seem to necessarily play in the water... she just likes to hang out underneath it long enough to get soaked and then she's good. :)
(Note- the boys don't seem to care much for getting misted... as you can see by their reaction to just the tiniest bit of water falling on them... big babies, lol)
To The Back Pasture!!
Another weekend at Silvery Moon- time to rotate and everyone was happy to follow! Arlene has settled into the herd perfectly and it was fun to watch her head out with everyone!

You know its officially spring when there's a little grass trying to grow in the back pastures and it's safe to let the herd out and get some different scenery!

Silverlight Unexpected Arrival is officially 2 weeks old today! And after being stuck in the barn for 3 straight days due to a nasty winter storm, Arlene and mama Dixie Mayre had a great time running around in the fresh snow!

Bedtime Butt Scratches
Silverlight Unexpected Arrival (aka Arlene) LOVED getting her buns scritched during the nighttime feeding. She loved it so much she tried to "groom" the air! She was more than happy to groom the back of someone's hand, too! ;) She just so adorable! <3

Out and About!
After being in the barn for the first 48 hours, we got to let everyone out... and even let Dixie and Arlene run around outside while we cleaned their stall! She is still so adorable trying to figure out her legs!! And mama is still keeping a watchful eye on her baby! <3
Fresh Crunchy Snow
After being in for two days due to freezing rain and sleety snow, everyone finally got to go outside... to a fresh blanket of snow that was crunchy. Apparently, none of the Boggies have ever experienced crunchy snow because they were all jumping at the *crunch* *pow* *thud* the fresh snow made every time someone walked through it. The boys were exceptionally flashy while they ran through the snow and it made for a great video!
