After almost 13 years together, our barn cat Zubilon had to cross over the rainbow bridge today. 💔
His early life was full of sass and s***k (to the point where we had a serious love/hate relationship with his sassy attitude). But his role as a barn cat was taken very seriously! He could hunt mice, snakes, ground squirrels, red squirrels (and we even once caught him trying to hunt a turkey!). He also has his fair share of fights against racoons, other cats, and even coyotes. He was definitely one tenacious kitty!
Zubi's senior years grew to be laid-back as he relaxed, but in that process he became the happiest, most cuddly cat. Every time he was snuggled, his purr could be heard from any part of the barn, and he was the only cat I met that enjoyed being tightly hugged or held like a baby. ❤
He lived a full happy life and he was loved by our family. The barn is going to feel different now that there's no cat demanding his nightly cuddles.
