Celestine and Sussy nap on the heating pad in the early March sun while I work nearby. Teeny continues to be a precocious teenager and Sussy is much farther down the road to recovery than she was even a week ago!

Banichi enjoys chilling (quite literally, next to the giant pane of glass leaking heat to the outside) in the bowl on the cat tree. He doesn’t do it often, but when he does, I love being able to see his little feet! Banichi is my HB outcross, bringing diversity and health to the gene pool.

This is currently Sussy’s second favorite spot for napping and her favorite spot for sunbathing. And of course since on Sussy is Celestine’s favorite spot, she’s there too. As long as Celestine holds still and shares body heat, Sussy is good with this arrangement.

Sweet Lily. This beautiful, wonderful girl continues to thrive after her surgery some months ago and is enjoying greater playfulness and frisky fun. 💚 If you notice a behavior change, such as being less active or playful or suddenly no longer enjoying being picked up or petted, please take your pet to the Vet for a checkup!

This is what happens when any of my cats are being adorable: I try to take a picture, or a video, and instead of continuing the adorable thing they were doing (usually sleeping or intensely watching something) they start paying attention to me. Here, Marguerite recommenced, thankfully, but that is not the norm. Usually it’s over once they see me and then it’s play or petting time. The cat filing healing pad is a great place to watch your cats sleep. Of particular note in this one is Sussy who, toward the end of the video, displays some deep sleep whisker and paw twitches. Cats are great bringers of joy and add light to our lives. The breed that best exemplifies this - to me - is the Havana Brown. Phos Hilaron is a traditional type breeder of Havana Brown cats based in Northeastern Indiana, USA. Our goal is to produce show quality Havana Browns that meet the CFA and TICA standards. Established in 2014, we produce and show quality Havana Browns with a focus on temperament, health, and structural soundness.
