Proprietor of Journey's Haven Riding School, who is now providing freelance riding instruction or clinics within the Southern New England area. With over 40 years of operating a successful riding school teaching professional horsemanship as well as complete barn management, I am now happy to come to you to provide you, your horse and/or your riding facility the best education to utilize your goals

. My specialty is teaching you how to listen to your horse, whether it be on the flat or over fences, in helping them, provide you with the best ride ever!

Our Story

Journey’s Haven offers programs for all ages; as we believe you are never too young or too old to enjoy everything there is about horses! From the ground up each student is taught the importance of great horsemanship! Journey’s Haven offers more programs onsite than any other horse farm in our area. If you’re looking to have a career in the horse industry you will learn the skills you need to excel in this profession. Journey’s Haven teaches both seats concentrating on Hunt Seat Equitation and Western Pleasure. We are very affordable with lesson packages starting at $140 for 4 and our sessions are over an hour in length. Our farm offers: Horsemanship Lessons, School Vacation Programs, Working Student Positions, Horse and Pony Birthday Parties, an Educational Horse Show Series, Nice Horses and Ponies for Sale or Lease, Indoor Arena Rental and Boarding to our students within a Safe, Relaxed, Friendly and Family Oriented Atmosphere! Journey’s Haven likes to give back; we provide food items to the local pantries and give to charities throughout the year! We also help organize and operate the Rehoboth Breed Expo and their events; the Breed Expo is a charity event which offers many horse demonstrations, children’s activities, food and all types of vendors; held each year at La Salette Shrine!
