We've made the decision to put Spike in Conformation. Losing an eye is not a fault. He has all the good parts of being a Boxer. Especially his temperament. His genetics should not disappear because of an injury as a baby. If the Judges cannot overlook his loss, shame on them!! Spike doesn't know it's gone and acts as if he has 2 eyes. Wish us luck with judgemental people and thank you for your support.

Sometimes Dreams change due to circumstances. None of us saw this coming- my best boy Spike suffered a severely infected eye- causing it to rupture. It will have to be removed ending his conformation career before it began. When you get knocked down, get back up and find a new path. We will start Obedience classes once he is healed, and show Performance. He is an exceptional puppy, too good to neuter and place into a pet home. Spike will overcome and sire the next generation of all around Boxers.
