Hilary and I thank all our students and horses for a wonderful riding season!
We have decided to suspend the riding program for 2022, to give the horses a rest and to focus on some farm maintenance projects like trail building and arena improvement. We look forward to re-establishing the program down the road, so stay in touch!!

Welcome, Ollie! Congrats, Mary Batt on the purchase of this fabulously willing, level-headed youngster. After just two weeks at BFF of teamwork tuning-up by trainer Hilary Wojcik and owner Mary, Ollie is crossing bridges, self- loading into the trailer and hitting the trails as a total gentleman. Well done, ladies!!

Welcome, Judi! Judi was rescued from the kill pens and is suffering from laminitis. ABC did a comprehensive exam including bloodwork and x-rays, and Judi is on the road to recovery with medication, a new diet and some comfy Easyboot Cloud boots. We'll give this shy girl lots of love and comfort while she's with us the next couple months.

Despite snow on the ground, it's time to schedule 2021 summer horseback riding at Butterfield Farm. We offer lessons and trail-rides for everyone, as well as training and summertime board for folks who own their own horses.

Scheduling is now open!

Please private message us or email [email protected] to reserve your spot. Appts are reserved on a first-come-first serve basis. Recurring lessons and trail-ride slots (usually weekly) get priority over one-time appointments.

Mon/Wed/Fri/Saturday/Sunday

Hilary Wojcik will be our primary instructor/guide this summer. She is a talented rider and instructor, with a gift for making people feel welcome and at ease. A mother of two horse-crazy girls, she is wonderful with children and parents alike, and her lovely mare Nala is one of our primary program horses. I, Liselle, will be teaching/leading trail-rides on a more limited basis, mostly Sundays and Mondays.

OUR COVID POLICY
Masks must be worn inside buildings at all times but are optional outdoors. Good social distancing practices will be observed at all times, even outdoors. Instructors will willingly mask for any outdoor interaction upon request.
