I am proud of Anna and Penelope! Penelope is Anna’s service dog. Penelope is from Freya’s second litter.

I was unbelievably nervous about placing a puppy as a service dog prospect because many service prospects don’t work out. TBH, I didn’t really want to take that risk. My dog training mentor and Anna’s aunt had faith though. I tend to be risk adverse and to me this was a risk.

Since then I’ve had the honor of placing puppies at a school and a few owners have gone do therapy dog visits with their dogs. Placing dogs that enrich people’s lives is some way is unbelievably rewarding.

I want to pay a little tribute to my aunt Gladys Rogers. She was highly esteemed in the Labrador show community!

Her legacy will live on in the Snowden Hill Labrador line she established. She was also a strong supporter of Freedom Guide Dogs.
