We missed posting something for National Dog day so figured we would share some fun photos of Nova, Tesla and Rip today. Nova had some fun chasing bubbles this weekend and is learning to be a “big girl” at 9 months old. Tesla is still our most intense one (she is “playing” in the photo 🤣). And Rip is still a big goofy boy who likes to suck on his toys.

We are excited to welcome "Nova" - Jesaran's Fusion, bred by Kathy Davieds (Heto vom Koby Haus x Jesaran's Redemption Song). Excited to get her in the show ring later this year and start training with her towards obedience and protection sports! She is a show/working line cross and we have chosen her for the health and longevity in her lines, as well as great temperaments from both sides.

Tesla and I did some protection training this past weekend. This was the first time she got to do a send out for the bite! Thanks to Meghan Broderick-Schwartz for hosting and to Marquise Berry for running the training! For those who are not familiar, this is training in the sport of IGP (previously known as Schutzhund), where the dogs need to demonstrate specific obedience and protection exercises (as well as tracking, but we have not done much of that yet). While Tesla probably won’t ever compete beyond the basic obedience (BH) level, she is a great training partner to help me learn!

“Lola” (LoyalBlitz’s Fortune Favors the Bold at Wyvern) from the Tesla x Alex litter took Winner’s Bitch and Best of Winners on Friday at the Ladies Kennel Association of America in Oyster Bay Long Island under judge Patricia Nemirovsky De Alsina. Congrats and thanks to her owner/handler Salena McCloud and also to Christine Hertling for capturing a great action shot!

“Lola” (LoyalBlitz’s Fortune Favors the Bold at Wyvern) from the Tesla x Alex litter took Reserve Winners one day in Edison NJ (25 March) and all 3 days this past weekend up in Syracuse, NY with owner/handler Salena McCloud! Big congrats to Salena on this recognition, and thanks for working hard with lovely Lola!

Got the win photo for Luke (LoyalBlitz’s Cayenne on Fire WAC) from his first win in York, PA. I was able to watch him show on Sunday and got a few nice pics of him in action too! Thanks to Luke’s primary owner Cindy Blemaster and handler Leah Ramsey for doing such a great job with him! Luke is from the Tesla x Uno litter.

"Luke" (LoyalBlitz's Cayenne on Fire WAC) from our Tesla x Uno litter got his first win (Winner's Dog) today at the show in York, PA! He just started showing about a month ago, so we are excited to see what he will do now that he's getting into the groove. Thanks judge Janet Cohen and to handler Leah Ramsey (who got the photo below of Luke during training)... I will post a win photo once we get it! Luke is owned by Cindy Blemaster and Kathy Knappenberger.

Rip (CH LoyalBlitz’s Carolina Reaper RN CGC TKN WAC) earned his first qualifying score in AKC Novice obedience this weekend at the Salisbury Kennel Club obedience trial, under judge Karen Wrey. Rip took first place in the Novice A class. He enjoyed his new squeaker toy after a weekend of working hard!

Rip and his brother Luke (both from Tesla x Uno litter) earned the Working Aptitude Certificate (WAC) today at the Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club’s evaluation!! So Rip is now CH LoyalBlitz’s Carolina Reaper RN CGC TKN WAC. Luke, who is owned by Cindy Blemaster and co-owned by us is now LoyalBlitz’s Cayenne on Fire WAC. This evaluation is a Doberman-specific test and includes response to strangers, visual and auditory stimuli, walking on different surfaces, and defending against an aggressive stranger. Way to go Rip and Luke! You made mama Tesla proud!
