Baked Cajun Catfish
Ingredients:
4 catfish fillets (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges, for serving
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.
In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Pat the catfish fillets dry with paper towels. Brush each fillet on both sides with olive oil.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix generously over both sides of each fillet, pressing gently to adhere.
Arrange the seasoned fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the catfish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve the baked catfish hot, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.
