Spooks Gotta Spark is an earner of over $286,000 in his electrifying career. He is a son of the great Spooks Gotta Whiz, who needs no introduction, and out of the great mare Dolittle Lena, an Equistat leading Reining dam.

Dollys dam, Roosters Nu Playgun was shown lightly as a two year old placing in the top of almost every class she was put in. She has limited NRHA documented earnings, but proved herself to be formidable in the show pen.

Dolly is Roxy’s third foal. Her oldest is a two year old.

ALPH has made the very difficult decision to take a year off from breeding. Last year was very physically and emotionally trying for us with the horses. Injuries, sickness, and lots of Murphys Law in play.

We are hopeful to be back at it in 2025, and have an outline of our potential crosses for next year and hope to come back bigger and better than before. We will use this year to enjoy our horses and focus on our Snipers Smoking Gun filly in training with Clemerson Barbalho, and our yearling filly by Memorable Revolution. The yearling filly we will hopefully be fitting and showing in some in hand classes at the AQHA and local open shows.

That being said, we will have two really powerhouse babies this year that will be available to show homes. Please contact us if you’re in the market for a spectacular baby!

SmokinAspenBabe is a 2015 mare by Smokin Jake and out of Peppy Watch Josie (Bristol Pep). Her sire is a NRHA money earner and his get have been successful in cutting, roping, halter, reining, cow horse, and pretty much all disciplines. This mares full sister is an NRHA money earner and AQHA halter point earner.

“Aspen” is a huge sweetheart of a mare. She is a fantastic mother, and milks like a Holstein. She ovulates on the dot every time and is super easy to breed. As an added bonus she keeps her stall clean and only goes in one corner. 😂🦄

She has had 3 foals, her first being by Brenna’s Golden Dunit and that filly won her first classes in ranch riding and ranch trail as a 3yo. Her second is a Mega Watt Shine c**t, and her third was a super cool filly by Star Spangled Whiz.

She unfortunately suffered a stifle injury that ended her riding career, but has been an amazing addition to the broodmare band. I have no question she would make a really great recip as well.

ALPH has two phenomenal foals available in utero.

The first is Spooks Gotta Spark x Roosters Nu Playgun (Nu Peppy Chex x Roosters Playgun) Spooks Gotta Spark is an earner of $280,659 boasting championships and was a finalist at several major events in the open. His foals will be starting to show soon. Roosters Nu Playgun is an NRHA money earner, and this will be her third foal, with her first one going to training this year.

The second is Gunners Special Nite x DiamondDunItInGold (Brennas Golden Dunit x Cowgirls N Diamonds). Gunners Special Nite is now a 6.8 million dollar sire, and earning over $235,000 himself. DiamondDunItInGold was never shown, and retired early from her riding career due to a suspensory injury. This is her first foal.

Gunners Special Nite needs no introduction, and is a 6 million dollar sire. He has earnings of over 225k with gold medals from the world Equestrian Games, was an open Futurity Reserve Champion, and an Intermediate Open Champion.

DiamondDunItInGold was not shown, but is broke and dependable. Her pedigree has greats and everyone knows the HDIxGunner cross is magical!

This is this mares first foal, and we look forward to what she will produce in the future! She is 6 panel n/n. Baby has a good chance of color and chrome!

SmokinAspenBabe is a 2015 mare by Smokin Jake and out of Peppy Watch Josie (Bristol Pep). She is sweet tempered, easy to handle and a breeze to breed and foal out. She lets you be hands on from day one.

Aspen was started as a 2yo and had about 90 days of riding before she tore a muscle in her stifle that left her broodmare sound only. She’s had 3 foals, her first is a 3yo by Brennas Golden Dunit. That filly won her first ranch trail, ranch riding and trail classes and has done some ranch rodeos and has been used extensively on a ranch. Her next foal is a c**t by Mega Watt Shine and her last is now a coming 2yo by Star Spangled Whiz. We left her open intentionally last year to give her a break (we give all of them a year off after 2-3 babies).

She consistently throws big pretty babies, and her last filly got a ton of chrome. All her babies have been easy to handle and she is a consistent mare while breeding as well.

She is currently open, we did try breeding her but our timing was off and she had already ovulated by the time we could get a shipment. Has never had issues previously.

A little Throwback Thursday with this little peanut!

It’s hard to believe she’s almost 4 right now. Seems like just yesterday I was wrestling her into my South Dakota State University hoodie because the blanket I bought her didn’t fit. 🤣

She was the first baby in my program, and I’m forever grateful for the things I learned along the way! 🥹

As some of you may know, our sweet girl Roosters Nu Playgun was in a wreck the end of May after her foal got out and went too far for moms liking.

What was originally tendon damage escalated to a luxated (dislocated) pastern that is thought to possibly be secondary to the tendon damage.

We have been doctoring and doing what we can to keep her comfortable, but with the circumstances the way they are, we are considering surgery for her. I’ve owned this mare for over 10 years, and I want to help get her back to healthy asap so she can continue to terrorize the place for at least another 10.

That being said, we would like to offer a “Roxy” special. All sports massage sessions will be buy one get one for $30. If you’ve only got one horse, sessions will be $15 off.

This will be the entire month of September, and we will honor this deal for any appointments booked in future months if they are booked this month.

Roosters Nu Playgun is in foal to Spooks Gotta Spark for a May foal. Has a good possibility of being bay or buckskin with a good chance of being splash as well! “Roxy” is by Nu Peppy Chex and out of a daughter of Rooster. She is an NRHA money earner and this will be her third foal. Her first two have sold to show homes and her first foal is a coming two year old. This foal is NFS at this time due to her injury and the possibility of it being a keeper.

DiamondDunItInGold is in foal to Gunners Special Nite for an April/May foal. “Indy” is by Brennas Golden Dunit and out of Cowgirls N Diamonds. This is her first foal, and has the potential to be bay or buckskin with a chance of some splash. This foal is offered in utero or let us know if you want to be contacted after birth and we will get you on the list. This will be a phenomenal show prospect!
