Client spotlight: Gracie Snyder
Gracie has been a client at Trailmark for several years now. This special young lady is always attentive and always prioritizing the health and well being of her horses. Most clinicians know how frustrating it can be when difficult cases are not managed according to recommendations at home and how important this team approach is to outcome success or failure.
Gracie, CT and her mother have been pure joy to partner with over the years and we are honored to call them clients and share their testimony.
Thank you for taking the time to share your journey, Gracie! We hope others in need of hope can look to your story for inspiration and encouragement.

TCS Clancy (CT)
“In 2022 I knew something was wrong with CT. We went to our regular vet and injected SI and stifle. It was hard to see where he was “off” but he wasn’t working like normal. So we knew there was a reason. This horse had just won the pole bending at the WCJR World finals a few months before all this started.
We made appointments and took him to the top vets in our area. They would flex, block, then inject hocks and stifles, then tell us he’s good to go right back to winning. I kept telling the vets that I thought he was hurting in his back. After Each vet trip CT would get better for three weeks, then would crash and be worse than ever. At this point we knew that we wouldn’t be able to keep competing on him if we didn’t do something drastic to change the downward spiral from the typical vet injections. And we were spending the money for the best injections. He now wouldn’t hold a lead if loped in a circle and even kicked up when I tried to lope him on the poles.
I was desperate and I knew it was likely that the best horse I had even rode was probably finished. CT had already won too much for me and I wasn’t going to keep running him if he was was hurting.
A friend told me about Trailmark Equine and Dr. Devon. Mainly how Dr. Devon could find soreness with her high tech ultrasound machine. It was very exciting to FINALLY get to the root of our problem instead of treating CT’s symptoms. Meanwhile his root problem, which was a sore back, kept getting worse. CTs back had been tight for so long that his spine stayed in a c shape and his whole body was tearing down.
Dr. Devon started him on prolo therapy and injecting his back with simple dmso to start decreasing his inflammation. The prolo helped build his stifles, and hocks to start reversing the damage from us running him on all the other injections we had done in his past which only tore his joints down.
We were put on a very strict rehab of workouts. Week by week CT was getting stronger. His amazing stride and power in his turns was returning. I did rehab and didn’t run him for a full 6 months. Never riding him on anti inflammatory.
I still couldn’t believe it. By trusting Dr Devon and her treatment I was blessed to have CT back to compete on again.
After a few months back into competing on CT again I ran my personal best time at the 2022 Oklahoma JH State finals of a 19.4. We also won the average and Oklahoma JH AQHA horse of the year. And 2nd for the year in state in pole bending. Then went to National JH finals and ran 19.7 to finish 2nd in the nation and Reserve All Around Cowgirl. CT had acquired the most points at nationals and also won AQHA National Girls horse of the year. Ct has won so much for me since Dr Devon helping him that I’m going to finish this with only some of his past summer highlights:
2024 Oklahoma High School State champion and average champion pole bender
2024 19.6 2nd in 2nd go National High School Finals
2024 IFYR Reserve Champion Pole Bender. Ct won the short-go, 2nd in the 2nd round and ran the fastest time of IFYR
Thank you Dr Devon and Trailmark Equine.”
