A client of mine was asking me if I still had the video of my faux fur in the black and white-black tip, so thought I would share it
Aside from my passion of my Southwest textiles and vintage cotton Beacon textile, I ADORE faux fur.
It's not easy to work with so I like to keep my designs as simple as possible. When cutting it, the fur does fly and tickles my nose.
I also once worked in a real fur shop in Greensboro, NC. I last 3 days back in the late 70's or 1980? I just could not handle sewing on real fur and learned how they kill animals.
But if you want a cowl or shrug or collar for your winter coats / jackets, let me know. I have some great pics of what I do.

I love this so much when my clients ( Martha Merchant) take pictures of my designs, and tell's me she is getting ready to go out, and putting on Adore!
And she's taking her darling leather purse with her too, yes, I made that too!
And then her sister Linda Steele has her "One of a Kind" Sieanna Poncho I custom made for her.

And the darling purse I made for her to go with it in genuine leather.
Made for Martha Merchant of Indian Lake, NY.
You should see her closet. I met her in Indian Lake in 2018 while doing a show. She stopped in my booth, and never heard of Beacon Blankets,..
she does now, with owning up to close to 10-12 designs of mine. I better clarify the count.

Good Morning....... Hope your week is starting out great. We are working on our fall inventory, sewing up a storm and creating new styles. Normally, when I get low on textile, I save it for customers, but I have decided to cut this color, called Beaver. A very neutral color in olive and cream tone, woven fleece. I am going to cut a new style 3/4 length in a hooded jacket/ coat with cuffed sleeve. However, I can get more of this textile if any of you want this color, in other style let me know. Good Morning, hope your weekend was good. I am going to some some bragging about my talented granddaughter who asked me to teach her how to sew. I asked her what she want to sew first, and she said purses!
So, here are the very first 2 she has made, which are custom orders from one of my clients in Pitts burg.
She has 2 more orders already lined up!
I am so proud of Vivienne, and she is very patient.
I will be sorting out colors to choose from, so if you want one, let me know.

Hello, My name is Vivienne Rose Ring.
I'm 7 years old, and I asked my grandma DeeDee to teach me how to sew. She bought me my very first sewing machine.
This is my very first order, that was actually inspired by one of my grandma's client, who has many custom made beacon clothing and purses.

I call them Vivienne Rose Crossover Purse, made from my grandma DeeDee huge collection of vintage cotton Beacon remnants, her closet is stuffed with fabrics, so I go through them and pick out colors.
The size of my purses are 5" w X 8" tall.
I am selling them for now $24 + cost of shipping.
We will post some colors soon so if you want to order, you can choose your color. Remember, they are "One of A Kind".
