Down command
The “down” command is a stay…stay in that position until you are told to do the next command or released. Spice is rocking it!
Down stay calm when children are around
Sophie gets over excited when children come around. Sophie wants to greet every child or crawl’s to get to them. So today we worked on staying in a down when approached by a child. We first work next to dog and rewarded the dog when a child came near and then we moved away and the dog stayed focused….good day…..and best granddaughter ever…she has really learned how to work with dogs and help

Fourth video Roo
Roo loving the grooming room after a nail trim
Third video after Roo was trimmed
Third video after Roo was trimmed
Roo first nail trim was a success. In the past this dog would not allow any one to touch her like this…she never went after Kat and we are happy with the first full trim. We will post another video so you can see what we did after nails are trimmed
Second video Roo having all nails trimmed for the first time
Roo and nail trimming
Roo is over three years old and the owner got him at 8 weeks. As he grew he did not like his paws touched or nails trimmed….over time he got worse and growled and would bite. The owner would take him to the vet but eventually they had to sedate him to trim his nails. This is why I share with everyone that gets a new puppy you must do touch work daily and learn how to trim nails.
Over time Roo has learned to trust me and you will see in the next video how the trimming went today. Look for Roo in the title. We muzzled him for safety since he had never been around Kat our groomer. His nails looked like a falcons.
