🚨URGENT FINAL PLEA🚨 NEEDS POSITIVE OUTCOME BY END OF DAY 9/7/25 Adoption fees waived.
❤Royal, A404995, 1 year old, neutered male, 64 lbs.,HW-❤
On September 24th, Royal will reach a heartbreaking milestone-one full year in the shelter. That’s 338 days of watching other dogs come and go, seeing his kennel mates find homes while he’s left behind again and again. All Royal wants is the chance to celebrate that “anniversary” in a home, not behind bars.
Royal is a good dog caught in a tough situation. After nearly a year in a kennel, the stress is taking its toll. He can get mouthy when being taken out or during medical handling, but this is a direct result of kennel stress. Outside of those walls, he’s a completely different dog. In the play yard, he relaxes-calm, collected, walking nicely on leash. He’s dog-friendly, loves to play with his canine pals, and just needs a patient home where he can decompress, learn some manners, and finally experience the love and structure he’s been denied for so long. Royal doesn’t have more time. The shelter is breaking him down, and he would greatly benefit from the chance to decompress in a home-like environment.
❤Tigre, A411166, 2 years old, neutered male, 61.5 lbs., HW-❤
Tigre is a 2-year-old boy who once had a home, a family, and a future—but through no fault of his own, that future was taken away. He came to us in February 2025 as part of a seizure case, full of hope, love, and trust. He’s potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and always keeps his space clean. He’s done everything right, even when life wasn’t fair. But after months in the shelter, the stress is wearing him down. The walls are closing in, and Tigre is starting to spin in circles in his kennel, a heartbreaking sign of his struggle.
Outside the kennel, though, Tigre is a completely different dog. He thrives. He’s dog-friendly, has enjoyed playful doggie dates, and lights up the moment he gets outside. He loves every person he meets and quickly becomes a loyal shadow to those who show him kindness. His intelligent, spirited nature shines once he’s away from the chaos, and his joy for life comes rushing back. Tigre needs a home where he can decompress, be fed separately, and finally feel safe again. This sweet boy has so much love left to give-he just needs someone willing to open their heart and give him the chance he deserves.
❤Suki, A410450, 1 year old, spayed female, 52 lbs., HW+❤
Suki’s story is a tough one. This one-year-old came to us in February with her puppies, terrified but fiercely protective of them. She isn’t aggressive or a lost cause-she’s simply scared. The shelter is no place for a dog like Suki to truly recover, and behind her fearful eyes is a soul longing for peace, safety, and a second chance.
Since arriving, Suki has made slow but steady progress. At first, she wouldn’t let anyone touch her, refused treats, and kept her distance. Now, she’ll accept gentle pets, she tolerated a bath, and she even walked back from the play yard on a leash for the very first time. These may be small steps, but for Suki, they are extraordinary.
Suki needs a calm, patient home with a securely fenced yard and, ideally, confident, friendly dogs to show her the way. She is dog-friendly and finds comfort in canine companions, though she’s still cautious with people. She has never shown aggression-only fear and flight-and with time, consistency, and understanding, she has the potential to blossom into the dog she was always meant to be.
🚨Suki is RESCUE TAG ONLY. This means she must be pulled through an approved rescue group and cannot be adopted through the shelter.
❤Jagger, A412994, 4 years old, neutered male, 45.8 lbs., HW-❤
Jagger is a 4-year-old survivor who came to us in April 2025 as an injured stray, likely attacked by other dogs before arriving. We’ll never fully know the pain he’s been through. His physical wounds have healed, but the emotional ones are still there. Jagger is a dog who’s been hurt, and now he fiercely guards the little bit of peace he’s found. While he can spend time in the play yard with dogs that respect his space, he has been unable to successfully share a kennel with another dog. He must be the only dog in a home where he can finally feel safe. When other dogs push his limits, Jagger reacts. We don’t know exactly why, but it’s clear his past has left him feeling the need to protect himself.
With people, though, Jagger is a completely different dog. He enjoys people and just wants love, comfort, and safety. His trust may have been broken before, but he still holds onto hope that someone will come for him. That hope is fading here. The shelter is no place for a dog like Jagger-it’s loud, and overwhelming. Jagger doesn’t need perfection. He needs a calm, dog-free home with humans who will finally give him the love and security he’s been denied for too long.
❤Blance, A414626, 3 years old, spayed female, 45.6 lbs., HW+❤
Blance came to us as a stray, found wandering the streets - scared, confused, and unsure of the world—alongside another dog. From the start, it’s been clear that Blance is not meant to live behind kennel walls. The loud, chaotic shelter environment has taken its toll, especially in the small, confined space of her kennel.
She struggles to share a kennel because of reactivity in tight quarters, but outside she shows a very different side. In the play yard, Blance happily runs the fence line with other dogs and can coexist peacefully with calm, respectful companions. Once she feels safe and not overwhelmed, she even shows little sparks of wanting to engage and play. For now, Blance needs to be the only dog in the home so she can finally decompress. She would greatly benifit from a patient, understanding family who will give her the space to settle, rebuild her trust, and learn that life can be calm and kind. Through it all, Blance has remained gentle and loving with every person she meets—just a sweet dog trying her best to navigate a world that hasn’t always been fair to her.
