Singing River and Mobile Kennel Club Dog shows this coming week, 7th-11th at the Grounds. There will be a $5 charge for parking, but, no admittance charge. Toy shows on Wednesday, then All Breed shows Thursday through Sunday. No unentered dogs allowed, or strollers because they are at a dogs face height. Taking no chances with the littl children.

Wow, maybe we should just use plain water. They might not look very good though. Our shampoos are supposed to be safe and we get the grease off first with safe for baby birds Dawn.

Your dog’s skin is her largest organ and anything you use on her skin and coat can be absorbed into the body. So you want to avoid bathing your dog with anything that might be toxic.

Hello to all the folks who want to get a puppy for Christmas 😊 This is actually not a great time to bring one home. All the company, shopping and people coming in and out of the doors, it’s usually chaos for a while.. If the puppy is for a child, give them a photo, appropriate dog toys, a dog bed, metal food and water dishes, and a crate.
The best time is right after Christmas to bring one home.
Usually breeders will have a contract and want the puppy to have someone home enough to take it out at regular times in order to housebreak it. They may have a certain type of food they are feeding it. Buying from someone who loves their dogs is best, please avoid the flea market so you can see the actual environment it was raised in.

This is what has to happen if you do not brush and comb a dog with soft or curly hair at least two or three times a week. The dog will be much cooler, but it will cost much more to be groomed.
Please brush and comb the coat frequently for good health and a better bond with your dog :)
