Today is truly a historic day … Gun Dog House Door has been selling to the public our “2-way Dog Doors” for nearly 40 years.

Sometimes, customers are confused as to how our design allows the dog to go in and out thus saying it’s a one-way door and they wanted a “2-Way Dog Door”.

WELL TODAY WE TOOK A CALL FROM A CUSTOMER WHO WANTS A ONE-WAY DOOR!

I laughed and said, ok, where’s the joke. The customer hesitated and said “Oh, I guess I can see how you think this is a prank call, but I actually need a one-way door!”

Problem solved and another HAPPY customer!

That made my Monday before 9 am!

Gun Dog House Door, Inc. is thrilled to welcome Skyler Riedinger as a summer intern. A proud graduate of Bismarck's Century High School, Skyler is now a senior at North Dakota State University, working towards his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Beyond the classroom, Skyler shines as a right-handed pitcher for the NDSU Bison baseball team, playing with remarkable pride and determination.

For Skyler, baseball, being the pitcher, is more than a game, it's a job! We look forward to watching Skyler use "precision and accuracy", "analysis and adjustment", "stress and strain management", "dynamics", and all of his other "tools and techniques" to come up with "innovative and creative" adjustments to our company's products and processes as he does when he is on the mound hurling balls 95+ mph.

While Skyler dreams of playing professional baseball, he remains humble, knowing his mechanical engineering degree ensures a promising future, regardless of where his talents take him.

UPFRONT’S CHARLIE won the Big Sky Open Shooting Dog Derby stake this weekend. Thanks to my scout, Doug Swingley.

Her brother from the first breeding of Chelsea’s Thunderbolt x UPFRONT’S Southern Star (Roo), Ramblin Rivers Natural (Earl) won the Big Sky Open Shooting Dog Championship.
