🎄🛑 MAYA’S CHRISTMAS WISH 🛑🎄

💔Back in early 2021 we had someone reach out with this message:

📱“Hey Heather,
I just wanted to check in with you to see if you know anyone that takes in pit bulls? She was wondering in the middle of the road and she looks like she might had a set of puppies before. She has a messed up eye and she needs help.”

The finder did all she could to locate possible owners. She said she could not afford another dog but she also could not just leave this sweet dog to wander the streets either. She brought her home and searched for owners, for rescue, for help. It was clear her eye needed attention and she needed spayed so we were contacted.

MAYA was spayed and had her eye removed after deciding it could not be saved. We fundraised for that years ago.

MAYA now has a mass that continues to grow at a rapid pace. We suspect it will continue to grow and become an issue even if it is benign.

Her human didn’t want another dog.
Could not afford another dog.
…But MAYA needed a home and love.

And now MAYA needs help again.

I’m begging our amazing community of giving, kind, and caring souls to please come together to help MAYA once more. Can we grant MAYA’s mom her Christmas wish?🎄
