Meet Jada
Jada has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2020. She is currently in school to be a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Her favorite animals to work with are reptiles and nervous dogs. Jada has 2 dogs, 7 tortoises, and 1 leopard gecko. She likes to play softball, and bake.

Homemade Cat Treat Recipe
1 1/2C cooked chicken, shredded * 1C whole wheat flour * 1/2C no-salt-added chicken broth * 1/3C corn meal * 1Tbsp softened margarine
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Combine chicken, broth and margarine
3. Add cornmeal and flour
4. Knead dough into a ball and roll out to ¼” thick
5. Cut into fun shapes and bake for 20 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet

Homemade Dog Treat Recipe
1 1/2C whole wheat flour * 1/2C all-purpose flour * 1/2C corn meal * 1/2C rolled oats * 1/2C water (or as needed) * 1/2C canola oil * 2 eggs * 3 Tbsp peanut butter (without xylitol) * 2 Tbsp vanilla extract
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
2. Grease cookie sheet.
3. Mix together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, corn meal and rolled oats.
4. In another bowl, combine the water, oil, eggs, peanut butter and vanilla extract. Mix well.
5. Gradually add the liquids to the dry ingredients and mix well.
6. On a flat surface, roll out the dough and cut into fun shapes.
7. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes, then turn the oven off and let the cookies remain in the oven for an additional 20 minutes to get crisp.

Dogs can be super sensitive to unfamiliar costumes and busy sidewalks full of trick-or-treaters, so we recommend leaving them home. If ringing doorbells may upset your pet, create a safe space for them in a separate room with white noise.
