Sent a big one home today! 152” opening day PA archery buck. They don’t get much better than that!

I wanted to take some time to make a few public service announcements.

1. I am not open or available on Sunday’s unless it’s a pre-arranged appointment for pickup or drop off.

2. I will not answer calls or texts on Sunday.

3. Calling or texting for a ”progress report” will likely be ignored as it only slows me down and takes time out of my already busy days. I assure you when your animal is completed, you will be the first to know.

I feel like I deserve one day a week to myself. I am still well under my quoted timeframes on all projects and on track to have them completed before then.

Another hunting season has started, so that means another post about proper caping for your trophy! Any questions call or text, I can walk you through it. I can always cut off what I don’t need, but I can’t add what isn’t there. Please share with all your hunting friends!

Finished up this stud Maryland archery buck this week. He also had a pretty crazy wound on his nose that took a little brainstorming to recreate!

A properly done euro mount is another great option for preserving your trophy! They look good, take up less space, and are more cost effective than a shoulder mount. Send a message or give me a call to get your buck done this season!

Finished up my double beard mount! Really happy with how this guy turned out for my first ever turkey mount. Next one will be full body!

Hunting season is upon us! Providing high quality whitetail shoulder mounts as well as elk, mule deer, and other mammals. Attention to detail and a beautiful mount that will last a lifetime. My prices are a reflection of the time, energy, and skill required to produce top notch taxidermy work. I do not have the best prices, I am not a bargain taxidermist. However I treat every piece like it was going to be in my house and I can promise your animal won’t leave unless it meets my standards.

Finished up my first ever mink! Super happy with how this little guy turned out and I’m ready to do some more. I hate to see him leave, now I’m going to need one of my own.

It’s never too early to start thinking about deer season! Im going to be taking in more deer mounts this year again as well as some furbearers or possibly life size animals. My prices have yet to be determined but I just wanted to start getting the word out early this year. Lots of custom options or run of the mill shoulder mounts!

Finished up my dads buck this weekend! Awesome scarred up deer that I’ve had some history of, with at least 3 years of pictures and 2 years of sheds. Also sent the teeth in to to get aged and it came back that he was 5.5 years old!

Results are in from the 2022 PA Taxidermy Championships. I went in a little apprehensive having only done a handful of open mouth deer, but was pleasantly surprised with my highest scoring deer to date! I also entered two photos I had taken and got a 2nd and 3rd place on them, which isn’t too bad considering they were only taken with my iPhone. Overall very happy with how everything went and can’t wait till the next show to try and improve more!

This deer was quite the project, he shed one antler when he was shot and then the other popped off while I was skinning the head. It took some work and help from my taxidermy friends but got him back together and mounted up and ready to be hung on the wall! Tim Keebler
