PurrFect Paws Rescue is a registered, non-profit corporation in the State of Pennsylvania and operates as a 501(c) 3 federally tax-exempt Public Charity. Our small group of experienced animal rescue workers recognized the need to address stray cat population living on the streets. We provide them with veterinary care and place the non-feral felines in our foster care program. We work strictly out

of foster care homes where our rescued animals are raised and cared for as our own. This affords us great insight into their temperaments, personalities and interactions with other animals. Our volunteers have many years of experience in handling and caring for animals and are overseen and assisted by a team of licensed veterinarians. We are available to educate pet owners through difficult situations and it is our feeling that through education we help promote responsible pet ownership practices. Foster Care homes are the backbone of our rescue and we are both fortunate and blessed to have such a dedicated group who are thoroughly committed to health and welfare of each animal we care for. Recognizing the standard of quality care for maintaining a healthy environment for our foster cats and kittens, we LIMIT OUR INTAKE. We do NOT intake pets surrendered by pet owners. We hope there will come a time when this will change but we will make every effort possible to assist pet owners to find other no-kill shelters and rescues. Please join us in our mission in making a difference in the life of a homeless animal by making a monetary donation or offering a gift of food, litter or a toy to one of our orphaned animals. Your donations are tax deductible to the extent the law allows.

Two is better than one!!! One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.

Stop by the Broomall Petsmart this Saturday and meet some of our fantastic kitties looking for a home of their own!

Our Billy Joel Concert Ticket winner tells us the seats were phenomenal and the concert was incredible! She shared a few photos with us. Our thanks to the Piano Man for supporting our mission and helping us fund-raise...BUT...our deepest gratitude to all of you who bought raffle tickets, you are all winners in our eyes for helping us raise funds for the veterinary care of the cats in our rescue. So many of our rescued cats come to us ill or with chronic health issues that have them remain in long-term foster care for the remainder of their natural lives. We will always provide for these not-so-adoptables and keep them well and happy. On behalf of these behind-the-scenes kitties, please know your continued support saves lives and we are humbled and most grateful ❤️
