With deep sorrow and regret, I bring news from Charlie’s owner that is courageous battle to overcome the odds of his heart condition are over. Charlie departed this world last week and we are heartbroken for his family. As I told Gina, Charlie had something so uniquely special about him. He’s gentle nature as a puppy was unlike any I’ve ever seen. We looked forward to many visits with this sweet boy.

The love we come to know as pet owners is revealed the moment our animal goes on without us. Grief shows us just how much we love and cherish the memories that were made. Death may remove us from the physical world, but it will never sever the kinship made between us and our pets.

Charlie-Bear, you are going down in history as one of the greatest dogs ever at the ASPDC. We will never forget you.

Let’s keep Charlie and his humans in our hearts during this painful time.

The wait is over. We welcomed our new family member and therapy partner, “Bert” Monday night. At his tender age of 5 months, he is almost the size of Champ. I can’t wait to watch this big boy grow! He’s very loving and an instant favorite of Pippy’s.

Yesterday we were notified by Charlie’s owner that he was diagnosed with advanced heart failure. Sadly, there is no cure for this sweet boy. I am asking for all of our extended fur family at the ASPDC to keep Charlie and his family in your hearts.

Getting lots of Rover requests! New customer referrals are fantastic, however the fees are astronomical and getting paid from Rover is a joke! ASPDC is licensed and insured beyond what Rover gives you. Book with us and receive a free day camp with your stay!
