We are currently looking for a part-time riding instructor to join our team. Looking for someone with experience teaching Beginners thru intermediate (maybe advanced) level students. Should have knowledge of basic flat work with some classical influence, work well with other instructors and knowledge to bring riders along jumping.
Will do group and private lessons. This is a position for home only and does not include horse showing. Needed for 3 or possibly 4 days per week, approximately 5 to 6 hours a day. Must have own transportation and be dependable. Must be able to work 1 weekend day and have flexibility to occasionally cover for other instructors. Strong starting wage above industry standards.

For Lease - Chia - 9 year old KWPN mare. On Property Lease Only. We are happy to offer this lovely mare for lease to a rider looking to show the 2024 show season. She has tons of mileage at both local and rated level shows primarily the 2'6" divisions. Can move up to the 3's with right rider. Must take lessons and share lease with owner for walk trot lessons once or twice per week. Lease will be responsible for partial board and shared expenses for farrier, shots and routine care and a very reasonable lease fee. Options for 6 months or one year. When your pasture doubles as a kick ball field. What you can’t see is all the horses looking out of the stall doors with a “What the heck” look on their faces. I’m really trying not to tell them that the sprinklers are set to come on in five minutes. Stay tuned. It should be fun. ❤️ I have to say “kids are the most marvelous little humans”!

MREC is currently searching for a Part-time office administrator. The position will be 3 days per week with a possible occasional fourth day on Saturday or Sunday. Candidate should have the following skills:

Good people skills.
Filing skills.
Ability to learn new horse-based applications.
Able to communicate with service providers such as vets.
Must know Microsoft office suites.
Must keep work environment clean and tidy.
Have basic knowledge of bookkeeping and data entry.
Must have own transportation.
Must be able to work unsupervised.

We would prefer a person with horse knowledge, however, will consider a person willing to learn those things needed to run an equestrian based office. Looking to fill position immediately.

Thanks everyone for a successful start to our 2022-23 clinic season. Our first Clinician Patty Stovel was nothing short of amazing. We love having her. A special thanks to Leah M Berry (our organizer) and Lauren Glickman (Media). And thanks to everyone that participated and audited. I think everyone Road great and I only hope you took some important knowledge from the two days.

Finally after living in a stall for the first two months of their lives, walking around in big red boots, a trip to New Bolton, surgery on their legs and being introduced to a new home - the girls get to venture outside for the first time. Mom is watching over them and they stick pretty close to her. Their nurse mom Julie Brown never has her eye off of them.

Hi All,
I am looking for a short term lease for a student of mine. She’s a lovely rider and would like to do some horse showing before leaving for college at the end of summer.
Should be at least 16.1. Easy to get to the ring. 2’6” horse and quiet enough to teach rider without having to worry about the horsey shenanigans. An older school master type would be ideal.
Will discuss budget when we speak. Should be some thing local. Not willing to travel outside of the Md, Va, Pa area.
We offer great care and selective showing.
A quiet warmblood type would be great. Prefer gelding with super quiet mind. More push ride than a motor.

Thanks Chesapeake Excavation and their excellent knowledge of arenas and footing. We had the indoor footing pulled up and base leveled and resurfaced. Took him one day and he did an excellent job.

Sadly Outgrown
“94” Devoucoux Biarritz pony kid saddle. 16.5” medium tree. In excellent condition. Deep seat for those precarious moments before the jump. Saddle fits a variety of pony backs, shapes and sizes. Flap configuration accommodates a variety of kids. Saddle has held up great and has no repairs. Will last for many many kids and years down the road. $2500/price is negotiable.
