🚨 URGENT NEED FOR SHELTER VOLUNTEERS! 🚨
Prince George’s County Animal Services is over capacity, and we need YOUR help more than ever! 🐾
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our shelter—they walk and train dogs, socialize cats, help with feeding and cleaning, support adoptions at offsite events, and so much more. Without enough volunteers, our animals miss out on the enrichment, love, and exercise they desperately need while waiting for their forever homes.
👉 We have upcoming orientations:
📅Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 10 AM
💡 Teens (14–17 years old) can complete required school service hours (non-animal handling tasks).
💡 Adults (18+) can work hands-on with animals after orientation and a facility tour.
📍 Location: Prince George’s County Animal Services
3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD
⏰ Commitments can be as little as 4 hours per quarter—but they make a HUGE difference for our animals!
🐶🐱 If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, now is the time! Please step up and help us give every animal the love and care they deserve while they wait for homes.
