My first quail eggs from Thieving Otter Farm hatched, and they are so adorable! I am very excited to get new (to me) colors of coturnix quail, especially from such a wonderful breeder that strives for excellence in health and temperament in her birds. I can't wait to see how these babies turn out! 🤩

Anyone local interested in some quail eggs? They are delicious, healthy eggs that are bite size 😋. I've made mini fried eggs, deviled eggs, beet pickled eggs, and creamed eggs with them so far, and they've all turned out great. They can also be used for crafts with their colorful shells, which are blueish on the inside. My dogs also love them as a treat when I accidentally drop one 😅, or they can be fed to reptiles. Anything a chicken egg can do, a quail egg can do smaller 😄
