SGT Brandon Adams (far right), a member of 185th Air Wing of the Iowa Air National Guard in Sioux City, recommended Mandy Swart, manager of Matuska Taxidermy Supply, for an ESGR Patriotic Employer Award based on the company's supportive actions during his drill schedule, annual training, and other requirements during the past year.

Brandon wrote in his nominating narrative that Mandy and the entire team at Matuska are β€œproud to support” Brandon’s service. He continued, β€œMandy is an awesome boss and person. She has been super supportive and easy to work with when it comes to my career in the Guard. If I need a day or two off after a hard stretch of training, to recover and spend time with family, she has no issues. The Matuska family in general have been incredible people to work for.” Brandon added that his employer is proud to hire current Guard and military veterans as they bring a positive work ethic and other benefits to the work place.
