A Dogs Day Out

Some sad news to pass along. Found out that this past Monday we lost a member of our pack... Zeus was in all respects a gentle giant. Towering over everyone he could have swated them like flies but instead was so careful with his steps as if he was dancing in the grass. Though he hasn't been in here much in the past year due to his health, we still kept in touch, checking in, saying hello and making sure his Mom and him knew he was loved by his family here at ADDO. Old man in dog years, but still young at heart he was an amazing dog... friend...companion. And he will greatly missed. Sending all our love, hugs and strength to his Mom... and as always, thank you so much for bringing him and sharing him with us, and for that we are truly grateful. ❤🐾❤

Time goes by so quick. It feels like yesterday Kara joined the pack... and that was close to 10 yrs ago.
Sadly Kara or AKA, Sausage has left this pack and joined another in heaven. Will truly miss her yapping at me if I wasn't paying enough attention to her, the multiple circles she would do in the lobby getting everyone dizzy. But most I'll miss her snuggling up with me either here or when I would watch her overnight. Even at 12 years she still acted like a puppy.... well maybe slowed down a little bit.... only a little.
Thank you Sausage for everything and thank you to her family for sharing her with us. Sending all my love, my strength and hugs to you❤❤❤🐾
