Riding was a small part of your story and there are still so many chapters to be written....

The way you protect your herd with the alertness of a horse half your age.

We offer beginning riding lessons to children and adults. We want to cultivate our riders natural love for horses and teach them to respect and appreciate how a horse moves and thinks. This is a reciprocal relationship and when our riders advance beyond us we have a network of barns that we will refer our riders to so they can continue their learning journey. It was a great ride day Thursday, we missed our Ashley, who is on her honeymoon. We had barn chores, riding, schoolwork, and lots of laughs.

One of my students came in late afternoon. I motioned twice for her to go ahead and grab her horse. She said “it’s been a tough week and I don’t wanna put my horse or myself through that.” She just wanted to take Harry outside, let him eat some grass while she told him about her day.

I didn’t take a pic as it was a very private moment but I am reminded again why horses are beautiful
