She’s been overlooked for far too long, but she’s good with kids, friendly with other dogs, and more than ready for a home of her own 🐶👧🐕

Cinnamon is living her best life now! From once being part of a code red list to now having her own yard to call home! This is why we do what we do! 🐶🐾

The Link Family: Thanks to BARC for taking such good care of our community’s furry friends. Our adoption was easy thanks to the team’s knowledge of the dogs, their personalities, and understanding who would fit best for us. We love our newest family member!!

Pen 2- female, 28lbs, 1yr, very friendly!, 6/10 on leash, isn’t scared of it but can use some practice walking with it, dog tested great!, such a happy girl.
Note: possible hip or knee issues with hind legs? Birth defect? Will need vet check.

Pen 3- male, 53lbs, 4-5yrs, super friendly!, happy boy, 3/10 on leash, strong guy & pulling, dog tested great!, eager to meet pen 2, such a good boy, loves affection!

Pen 8- female, 46lbs, 6-7 yrs, very people friendly, 6/10 on leash, isn’t scared of it but pulls some, unfortunately not the best dog tester, sniffing Teddy but didn’t want him sniffing her. Will retest again.
Note: some sores on backside/paw. Possible mammary tumor, will need vet check.

Pen 14- male, 9 lbs, 12-14 weeks, so so sweet!!!, loves affection, adorable!

Pen 1- male, 2-3 yrs, 68-70lbs, very friendly, excited to come out of the kennel, 6/10 on leash, definitely has some knowledge, but lots of pulling, dog tested well, pretty boy, needs to gain some weight!
Note: small abrasion on tail

Pen 11- male, 1-2 yrs, 16-18lbs, very sweet and friendly, a little nervous Coming out of the kennel, but let me carry him outside, 5/10 on leash, dog tested great, nervous at first but then wanted to play, cutest little hops.

Happy New Year from us — and FedEx Delivery 🖤🤍📦

FedEx Delivery showed up to ring in the New Year dressed in his finest tux, because professionalism matters when you’re on duty. Bow tie? Implied. Attitude? Impeccable.

As always, he’d like everyone to know:
✔️ Deliveries completed (destroyed)
✔️ Packages inspected (sat on)
✔️ Zero customer service available

He’s here to drop off good vibes, a little chaos, and possibly a hairball — all right on schedule. No signature required.

Here’s to a new year full of adoptions, laughs, and cats who take their jobs very seriously while contributing absolutely nothing.

Pen 2- female, 2 yrs, 86 lbs!, big girl!!, very very friendly!, 6/10 on leash, definitely knows what it is but way to big/strong to be pulling, dog tested great, wanted to play, definitely needs someone who can match her energy and handle her size.
Heartworm negative
Note: microchipped but not registered.
Previously code red, foster to adopt has ghosted.

Pen 4- female, 1-3yrs, ≈45 lbs, very people friendly, doesn’t mind being loved on, 6/10 on leash, pulling and excited, but not too hard to handle, 4/10 on dog test, comes in hot. Will probably need slower intros.

Pen 14- female, 1-2 yrs, 34 lbs, very friendly, vocal!!, enjoys affection, 7/10 on leash, some pulling but easy to handle, playful, comes in super hot but once she sniffed Teddy she just wanted to play.

Mobile Spay/Neuter Days for 2025 is a wrap!

We ended the year with another great surgery day, with 29 animals being fixed!

29 dogs & cats who will not be contributing to the overpopulation & stray issue in Uvalde!

We are proud of our team, this was our 12th mobile spay/neuter day!

We have been hosting these for exactly a year and over 440 local animals have now been fixed at these mobile days!!
This does not include our partial community vouchers issued also.
