Pen 2 (now 7)- male, 1 yr, 74lbs, very happy boy!, very strong!, doesn’t flinch at all, didn’t mind me touching his body, face, feet or tail, such a friendly dog, 4/10 on leash, isn’t scared of it, but does pull, jumps up for hugs, dog tested well, high energy!, beautiful yet goofy dog!

Medical notes: wound on neck from collar (antibiotics started). Heartworm negative

🎉🐾 It’s Vet Tech Appreciation Week, aka the week we celebrate the superheroes in scrubs! 🐾🎉

They wrangle wiggly puppies, cuddle nervous kitties, clean everything, explain all the things, and somehow still manage to smile through it all. 😅💪🐶 🐱

Basically… vet techs = part nurse, part animal whisperer, part magician, and 100% AMAZING. 💙✨

Pen 4- male, 69lbs, 1-2 years, super people friendly!, gives hugs, very very strong boy!, 3/10 on leash, dog tested well, came in a little hot but after sniffing teddy, he wasn’t aggressive, no growling or showing teeth, needs some training, but shows potential, high energy.

Pen 7- female, 30lbs, 7-8 months, so sweet!, very shy/timid, but friendly, wants affection, trying to be a lap dog, 5/10 on leash, doesn’t walk much with it but isn’t scared of it either, dog tested well, nervous but not aggressive, great potential

Pen 8- female, 31lbs, 7-8 months, a bit more social than sister, but still timid too, 6/10 on leash, walks a little bit better, not scared of it, dog tested well, nervous but not aggressive, very very sweet girl, great potential

Pen 9- male, 10lbs, 10+ years, ✨elderly✨, so so sweet!, a little nervous, but no fear biting and doesn’t mind being carried, 4/10 on leash, not scared of it but doesn’t really walk with it on, perfect purse puppy 👜 🐶 , dog tested well, just plopped over to his belly, probably wouldn’t want to play, but can definitely coexist, 10/10
