BARC office is open M-F 10-3 for spay/neuter voucher distribution and adoptions!
127 South Camp BARC also has pets available for adoption.

BARC provides low cost spay/neuter coupons to the community to help make altering pets more affordable. All pets have received a full health screen, vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Marvin came to us as a very young pup. He grew up with us and waited and waited for someone to see him. After 2 LONG years, Marvin is finally home for the holidays. As much as we will miss him, we are so so happy for him and wish him nothing but the best on his new journey. We love you, Marvin! 🐶🐾

Pen 1- male, 3-4 yrs, 65+lbs, very attentive to his surroundings, 6/10 on leash, some pulling(very strong), very vocal!, dog tested okay, did bark some, very sweet boy, didn’t mind being cuddled, doesn’t like his tail touched.

Pen 7- female, 35lbs, 1-2 yrs, very people friendly, super sweet, nice smile, 5/10 on leash some pulling but not bad, 50/50 on dog test, she definitely has “alpha female” energy, but she recently had puppies.

Pen3- female, 54lbs, 1 yr, so so sweet, army crawler!, 4/10 on leash, didn’t want to walk much but didn’t fight it, dog tested well, very gentle.

Pen 8- male, 43lbs, 1-2 yrs, friendly boy, 6/10 on leash, knows what it is and how to walk, does pull some, dog tested well, definitely needs to be neutered!, good boy.

Pen 14- 30lbs, 4-5 months, female, very playful, a little shy but super friendly, loves kisses, 2/10 on leash, did not want to walk with it, young so very trainable!, good pup!

Pen 10- 31lbs, 1yr, female, little shy at first, very friendly, likes affection, 3/10 on leash, doesn’t know and didn’t want to walk with it, dog tested great!, once she saw another dog she came out of her shell and wanted to play.

Code Red Cats:

CKA: 2M 1F, 7wks, all under 2 #. All 3 have ringworm. Sweet playful kittens that need a bit of socialization.

CKD: 3M 1F, 12wks, all over 2 #. Are ringworm exposed but negative at this time. Sweet and loving kittens. Very healthy!

Pen 12- female, 42lbs, 2yrs, very very friendly and affectionate, 6/10 on leash, not great but familiar with it, dog tested great, would need someone who can take it slow with her, beautiful girl, likes to roll in the grass.
Medical notes: abnormal rear leg, isn’t able to bend it, possible old injury?

Pen 13- male, 16lbs, 4-5yrs, so so sweet, a little nervous at first but once he warms up he’s very friendly, doesn’t mind being held, dog tested well

Do you ever feel like living on the wild side?
Well you’re in luck, because we have the perfect mentor for you!
If Roscoe had a middle name, it’d be wild-style.

This silly boy is about 1 year and 41lbs.
He loves playing, especially with something squeaky! Roscoe is still learning how to walk on a leash but he is catching on quickly! He gets along with other dogs and does well with cats!
Roscoe is very treat motivated and learned to sit for snacks. He loves giving and receiving affection. Expect to get plenty of slobbery kisses 😚 🐶
Roscoe would make the perfect family dog and adventure buddy! 🐾 🌄🐕

This girls eyes will melt any cold heart in seconds. 🩵Jill is about 6-7 months and weighs around 4 lbs. she LOVES playing and receiving affection. She gets along well with other cats, and doesn’t mind sharing toys. If you need her attention all you have to do is shake a jar of treats, she’ll be next to you in a heartbeat. Her favorites are catnip flavored temptations. She’s absolutely gorgeous! 🐱🐾

Blanca is a beautiful white kitty of about 3 years and 7lbs. Blanca is very independent, she enjoys lounging about. Shes very sweet and likes being petted. She doesn’t mind other cats and can definitely coexist, but still likes her personal space. She LOVES treats and boxes 📦
She’d be a great couch potato or shelf ornament!

Code red cats:

Kennel A: 5 kittens, 3F 2M, 7wks, 470-760g. Eating dry food well. Very healthy and playful! Super fat. Gray has mostly resolved ringworm.

Kennel B: Female torbie kitten, 9wks, over 2 #. Super sweet and vocal. Makes great biscuits. Fat and healthy.

Kennel E: male gray tabby, 8wks, over 2 #. Very healthy as well. A bit nervous at first but warms up quickly.

Pen 1- male, 2-3 years, 34.10lbs, 10/10 smile, super friendly!, dog tested great!, 7/10 on leash, pulling from excitement but still know what a leash is, great personality, definitely has good potential!

Pen 2- male, 3-4 yrs, 65+lbs, very attentive to his surroundings, 6/10 on leash, some pulling(very strong), very vocal!, dog tested okay, he barked at pen 1 a lot at the beginning but after some sniffs he calmed down, very sweet boy, didn’t mind being cuddled, doesn’t like his tail touched but other than that very good boy, has ✨Potential✨
