Shawna's love for animals started when she got her first dog, Rusty, a Brittney Spaniel. While in her first year of college Shawna found a love for grooming which led her to attend the Connecticut Dog Grooming School. After graduating in 2009 she worked at a few shops, learning the art of grooming all breeds. These experiences helped to shape her professional grooming skills. Shawna learned she wa

Im so excited to introduce to you the other stylist at GROOMED! Shawna, a seasoned grooming professional with over 16 years of experience is the perfect fit for the new business. I worked with Shawna when I first moved to the area and was so impressed with the quality of her work and her compassionate and caring nature with the dogs.

Her passion for animal care originated with her first dog, Rusty, whose unconditional love inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary technology. She attended Becker College for animal care and veterinary science in 2007, where she discovered her true calling, grooming. Furthering her education, she graduated from the CT School of Grooming in 2009, becoming a certified pet groomer.

Over the past 14 years, she has established herself as a trusted local groomer. Shawna is dedicated to providing the same exceptional care and love that she gave to her clients as Shawna The Groomer in a new beautiful location. I couldn't be happier to be starting this venture with such a talented groomer and wonderful person.
