Meet Andi 🌸🐾 Andi is a 1yr old, 20lb, Terrier mix. Andi is a super sweet girl who can be a little timid. Andi is a total lover and will need someone who will love on her and build her confidence. Let’s mention the cool Mohawk she has going on…so adorable! Andi is a quick learner and is treat and love motivated, so training should be easy and a great confidence builder. Andi gets along with all dogs and all people. Andi would make a great buddy to take places, or just hang out at home. Even though Andi gets along with all dogs, she loves her people and would like nothing more than to be the one and only love. Meet Bernie 🫶🐾 Bernie is a 5yr old, 3lb Terrier. Bernie is a very friendly boy, but takes a little bit for him to warm up. Bernie is a cautious boy and likes to take things slow. Bernie loves to be held, and loves to cuddle. Bernie is a very tiny boy, so a home without small children. Bernie gets along with all dogs, but prefers to be with his person. The best home for Bernie would be a quiet home with adopters who want a cuddle buddy to love on. Bernie was severely matted and had to be shaved, he normally is a long haired boy who will need grooming appointments in the future, once his fur starts to get long. Bernie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. Meet Sugar 🍭🐾 Sugar is a 12yr old, 15lb Poodle mix. Sugar is just like her name, just like sugar she is a super sweet girl. And let’s address the elephant in the room, her ear! When Sugar is excited one ear will rise up, and the more she’s excited the more it goes up, so darn cute!!! Sugar is a little shy at first, but warms up very quickly with lots of love. Sugar loves to be loved on and hang out with her person. Sugar would be a great companion to take places and be your travel buddy, or just hang out and cuddle all day long. Sugar is a quiet girl, so if you’re looking for a barker, she’s not it. Sugar is more of an active 12yr old, so if you like to go for walks, she would love that also. Sugar would do great in a single person home or a family with older children. Sugar gets along with all dogs of all sizes and ages. Meet Chay 🫅🐾 Chay is a 10lb, 7yr old Yorkshire Terrier. Chay is a sweet boy who is very curious, and interested in seeing what the others are doing. Chay gets along with all dogs and people. Chay loves treats, but only likes the soft ones, since he recently had a dental appointment and all of his teeth had to be removed!! That doesn’t stop Chay from eating and taking treats quicker than the others. Chay loves his people and would like nothing more than to be a lap buddy. Meet Wong 🐶🐾 Wong is a 10yr old, 12lb, Chihuahua. Wong is super sweet and is a total love bug. Wong gets along with everyone he meets dog or person. Wong is the kinda boy you would be able to take anywhere. Wong is super social and will run up to everyone to say hi. Wong is very treat motivated, so if you want an older dog to learn new tricks, he’s the one for you. Meet Cow 🐮🐾 Cow is a 7yr old, 10lb Yorkshire Terrier. Cow is a super sweet boy who is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly, especially with treats in hand. Cow gets along with all dogs, but will chase cats. Cow gets along with men and or women and older children. Cow would be a great companion for just about anyone. Cow loves car rides and meeting new people. If you’re the one who likes taking your fur baby places he would be a great fit. Anyone looking to adopt a Yorkie??? Or an older chihuahua?? These beauties are at Broketail Rescue and will be looking for homes soon. There is 1 female and 3 male Yorkies and a male Chihuahua. They do not have to be adopted together. The owner went into assisted living and was leaving the dogs behind to fend for themselves. A Good Samaritan contacted a local shelter and they did not have the space for them. The rescue then contacted me and how could I say no…. They are all very sweet, a little freaked out, but very sweet. The Chihuahua is 10yrs old, and the Yorkies are : male 7yr old, female 10yrs old, male 9yrs old, male 7yrs old. Pass it on to all your friends ❤️🐶

Meet Pip 🤴🐾 Pip is a 10lb, 2yr old, Terrier mix. Pip is a total sweetheart. Pip loves everyone he meets and tends to be the social butterfly in public areas. Pip gets along with all dogs of all sizes and ages. Pip is treat motivated and would be the one you would be able to train to do tricks. Pip is very smart!! Pip is also the one you would be able to take shopping, do Netflix binging, and Pip would love to do the all time favorite… napping..Pip is a love bug and a cuddler. Meet Ivanka 👸🐾 Ivanka is a 4lb, 14week old Pomeranian mix. Ivanka is a girl who is the life of any party you take her to. Ivanka gets along with all dogs of all ages(although she may be too rambunctious for the seniors). Ivanka is a very confident girl who loves to play with other dogs, and she loves her toys and is starting to play fetch. Ivanka has no fear and to her, everyone is her friend. Ivanka is a puppy and would do best with a person/family who would love a puppy to train and help her become the best she can be. Ivanka is treat motivated so training should be a breeze. Hi Everyone,
Broketail Rescue and Sanctuary will be taking in Panda who is a blind and deaf 15yr old super senior. His senior owner can no longer take care of him, so Panda will get to live his life out here at Broketail Rescue, as one of our Sanctuary seniors. One of my stipulations is that all dogs have to be altered to avoid any issues. The family is asking for help with neuter and any other costs for this guy since he is older. I’m sure medical costs will come in to play at some point. If you would like to donate or sponsor this beautiful fur baby, donation information is attached. Thank you for everyone’s support!!

Meet Cannoli ❤️‍🔥🐾 Cannoli is a 23lb, 5yr old Brittany Spaniel mix. Cannoli is a dream of a dog for people who like to go for walks or hikes. Cannoli walks great on a leash, stops when you stop, and does not pull. Cannoli is a super smart boy who learns very quickly. Cannoli knows how to sit, stay, and does very well with routines, he knows exactly when it’s treat time, or when it’s time to go for a walk. Cannoli gets along with other dogs, but can be a little forward at first meet. Cannoli has been with old, young, small and big dogs and has done great with slow introductions. Cannoli would do great in a multiple dog household, but really, he just wants to be with his people and hang out, so he would do even better in a single dog home. Cannoli is a great size too, taking him places and even traveling in a motorhome would be a great life for him. What’s the draw back… he is protective of his food and treats, he does not like to share and will let the other dog and people know it. But really, who likes to share treats!!?? The upside is .. he is loyal and sweet boy who would make a great buddy. Cannoli is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. Meet Curtis 🎉🐾 Curtis is a 2yr old 8lb, Poodle/Maltese mix. Curtis is as cute as they come! Curtis is a super sweet boy who loves everyone. Curtis is playful, sweet, submissive, and treat motivated. Curtis does need to learn basic manners, so being he is treat motivated will make training a breeze. Curtis is missing his eye, but that doesn’t slow him down, and no other treatment will be needed. Curtis loves his people and can be vocal about it. Curtis is very excited to be with his person and he will let you know, he can be a talker… hahaha. Curtis would do great in a home that is active. Curtis would also do great being a shopping buddy since he loves everyone and he’s small enough to fit in a large pocket..hahahaha. Curtis is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and his rabies vaccine.
