Eight years ago, one brain cell sparked an idea. It divided into two and then a conversation between two brain cells started. The two became four, the four became eight and so on, until two weeks ago, when enough brain cells had grown into a thoughtful, organized group. They proceeded to hire a company to create the structure of a non-profit.

Today, the brain cells decided to create a website, a page, and an Instagram profile so other brain cells from other talented individuals may brainstorm, discuss, and help us flesh out the details.

The little spark of an idea is morphing into a bonafide program that pairs foster kids with a horse companion. Not just for a day or a week, but for years and years. A constant companion. A consistent relationship. A healthy attachment. A new story. A future filled with hope and new confidence.

It's gaining a lot of momentum from individuals who want to be a part of its growth and success. People who wish to be a part of something impactful. To serve foster kids in a way that appears to be a corrective action. A way that benefits and consistently guides the kids to find and develop their best selves with the help of a horse companion and many other stable friends.

Please join the journey as we build a giant network of stable friends. Visit our website www.stablefriends.org to join the email list or simply like this page and you will be updated along the way.
