Listen, ladies, I’m more than just a handsome face & pretty smile that fits perfectly with a Taylor Swift song. I’m ALLLL personality too. Actually, let me tell you a little about myself:

🦖I’m around 6 months old👶🏻
🦖I weigh around 20-30lbs. I’m short and stocky … just like the ladies love.. or at least that’s what my foster moms tell me. 😉
🦖I am ALL puppy. I love to play. Sometimes a little too much. I can be too high energy for certain playmates, but that’s okay, I just have to find my perfect match. 🐶
🦖I am working my bestestttt on my manners. My foster moms taught me how to sit. I know that command really well, and I’m working on the others. I really need a family willing to help guide me with learning my new manners. I’d say I listen pretty good though. 🗣️
🦖Wanna know what makes me really special? I have a cool white scar down my back. This is from a previous dermal injury, but I’m all healed up. My foster moms even say it looks like I got struck by lightening & got super powers or something. I run really fast so I think they’re right. ⚡️
🦖I’ve never met a stranger. Everyone and everything is a friend of mine. 👯‍♀️
🦖I’m up to date on all vaccines, & will be neutered when it is age appropriate.

🐾Frenchie Party at VVA!🐾

We had an absolute blast at our Frenchie Pawwwwty, and our Manager Rooster made some adorable new friends! 🐶✨ The cutest crew of French Bulldogs gathered together for a day filled with snuggles, tail wags, and lots of fun. Rooster welcomed everyone with his usual charm, and it was smiles all around!

Thank you to Iver Beall’s mom for these delicious goodies! Iver 100% felt like he deserved them more for being such a brave boy for his neuter recently. 🩵

Funny Iver Story: His mom let us know at drop off not to mind his whiskers. Turns out… he had a big party for his first birthday, & unfortunately got too close to his pup-cake that had a candle on it which resulted in a crispy whisker. Who can blame him? Ya only turn one ONCE! 🧁

U.S.A. Rescue Team is a non-profit - 501(c)3-volunteer based animal rescue group in Valdosta that help at risk animals like Harry. Please consider donating in Harry’s honor to the link they have provided on their original post. 🩵

Harry and all of us at United Saving Animals Rescue Team would like to say a huge thanks to Dr. Jill Courson and the staff at Valdosta Veterinary Associates. Many of you saw the pictures of Harry's emergency last night. Thankfully, Dr. Courson didn’t hesitate and told us to bring him on in! She and her super friendly staff immediately went to work on him. After evaluating and stabilizing him last night, Harry was able to have surgery today and is now resting comfortably. We also LOVED that every time we called to check on Harry that Dr Courson took the time out of her busy schedule to speak directly to us about how he was doing. Her willingness to take a couple of minutes to personally give us an update sure helped our mental status while he was in the hospital. Harry sends sloppy kisses and many thanks to all at VVA, as well as everyone who sent prayers and donated toward his care!

This is the full circle moment that makes the hardships in Vet Med entirely worth it. 🐾

We met Maggie Rutland for the first time today, but we met her mom long ago. We first met Mrs. Rutland through her beloved Lacey, a senior schnauzer. Lacey & her mom came every single week for Lacey’s care. They became apart of our family, as quickly as we became apart of theirs. Lacey took every hardship like a champ, & always put her best paw forward. When Lacey passed in June, we were devastated, & her family was heartbroken. Today, we saw a familiar name on our schedule, & Miss Maggie came trotting in accompanied by a big smile from Mrs. Rutland. Maggie has BIG paws to fill, but she’s already healing her family’s hearts, even at 3 pounds. Thank you for choosing VVA for each journey. 🩷

What’s the cure to the mid-week blues? Puppies & Kittens! Here’s a list of adorable babies we’ve seen at VVA recently:

First, we have Ms. Nala. Nala is weighing in at a whopping 4.8lbs. We first met Nala for her puppy vaccines with her breeder, then we had the pleasure of meeting her new family! We can’t wait to see Nala grow. 🎀

Next, we have pretty Poppy. Poppy came in for her first puppy vaccines. Did you know? We know Poppy’s entire family from her greyhound brother to her Doberman brother, & yes we do love all of them equally! 🌷

Making an appearance is Toby! Despite what Toby’s mom says about him chewing things he shouldn’t, we think he’s great! She actually says we may spoil him a little too much when he’s here for his puppy vaccines. 😉

Lastly, we have our favorite feline, Shelly! Shelly, formerly known as Kiwi, was adopted by a staff member after being brought in as a stray from a feral cat colony. You just can’t TNR a kitty as cute as this. 🥝

Are we seeing double? 👯‍♀️ Staff favorite, Jaxson Strickland, met Skye Daniel, an employee pet! We quickly realized that despite the two not being related, they look pretty identical. Of course we scheduled a play date in the yard while Jaxson boards with us! Did you know that we actually met Jaxson during an emergency visit? While we wish we met under better circumstances, we quickly fell in love, & he has since followed up with us for boarding. We were happy to be there to nurse Jaxson back to health, & to keep him preoccupied while he boards with us.

While each loss hurts, some hit closer to home. Whether it be a regular visit, a sick visit, a gossip session with Ms. Chastain, or even a surprise beach trip, our staff have enjoyed caring for sweet ‘Tater’ & her mom, Ms. Chastain. Our Tater Bug was only given 2 months to live after her cancer diagnosis, but with the care of Dr. Courson & Ms. Chastain, Tater defied odds and doubled that! Tater had to visit a specialist in Jacksonville for her cancer diagnosis + chemotherapy. While there, vet assistant - Grace decided that every dog, especially one as amazing as Tater, should visit the beach at least once, so of course they went. Tater was convinced each person on the beach was there just for her. She made friends there, just as Tater & Ms. Chastain do every where. They treated her as a celebrity, and took pictures with her. She was treated to a pup cup shortly after.

Each visit after that with Tater was just as special. She kept the pig snort, & wiggly butt all the way until the end. Tater’s only fault is that we will now endure a lifetime of missing her for the privilege of loving her, but boy are we glad we had that privilege. We imagine that she has crossed the rainbow bridge & is running onto the beach full speed now. Some days are just “melt on the scale” type of days! When you’re as cute as ‘Judge,” our staff will let you do whatever you want. Judge, who works with The Georgia Department of Corrections, came in today for his puppy vaccines! 🐶

Meet Tilly! She is a 5 month old spayed female with a front left leg injury which is healed but that leg is not functional. She gets around well regardless.
