This is why I love cal kings. So much variety in one clutch.
These 3 had left their eggs this rainy hurricane morning.
The last 3 have pipped. One albino, one hypermel, and one either hypermel or a dark het.

First one out and the next pipping is an albino. Can’t tell if it’s a normal albino or blizzard yet.
This pair is so stressful to breed because of the female, but man they make exciting clutches.

Probably the most excited I’ve ever been for a hatchling. I’ve wanted a reverse wide stripe, but with life going on couldn’t justify spending on one right now. So I attempted to make one. Pairing was hi white x mosaic, with the hi white having striping down the back. Really wasn’t expecting much, but to see this boy as the first one out is probably the most surprised I’ve ever been. This clutch is also my first homebred x homebred. So this is a very special animal to me.
