Gretchen is our $5 Friday. We are a little over $1500 short on her surgery. She has an appointment on Jan 9th at Capitol for a CT scan which is her next step for surgery. The cost of the CT is not in included in the cost of the surgery. We will be having a few raffles and other fundraising to get all her expenses covered. All donations given to the rescue goes to the animals.

Gretchen will be at petsmart tomorrow to meet and greet people. She absolutely loves people so please stop by and say hi to this sweet girl. Once you meet her you will understand why we are so dedicated to helping her.
Thanks to all who bought stocking to help Gretchen we raised 115 on those . Every penny counts.

Phoebe is a beautiful 2 year old American Boxer. Smart and loyal, she retains all the characteristics and personality of her breed. Very sweet and energetic.

It's 5 DOLLAR FRIDAY
Everyone remember Gretchen ? Right now little Gretchen needs a lot of $5 she had her consult at Capitol yesterday. The news certainly was not what we had prayed for. We knew our babies legs looked pretty bad and yet we prayed for better news. But when the specialist starts the conversation with ...worst case scenario and says this is her . Poor Gretchen's back legs instead of being straight. They are shaped like an "S". Which causes her knee caps to continuous pop out of place. Without surgery she will never have a normal life pain-free life.

Gretchen's surgery will cost us 5000 . We know this sounds like a lot of money, but this surgery would normally cost over 15k. Gretchen stole a lot of heart's ❤️ yesterday at her appointment and they want to help us help her.

We really need our village right now so we can make her surgery happen. Gretchen is not our only medical case right now and funds are really tight. In the past few weeks we have taken in 4 severe skins cases, a chihuahua that was attacked by a pit bull and one with a thrive issue who required hospitalization. We really try not to beg all the time but right now we have no choice. Gretchen needs us and we need our village.

We can't do this without you and all the support our village gives us.

We will be at petsmart tomorrow and we will be raising funds for her surgery so stop by and meet Gretchen and see our great pets for adoption.
Gretchen needs her Christmas miracle. Just take a look at her little face and you like everyone who meets her , you will fall in love.

We are a licensed 501c and run entirely on donations. We have no paid volunteers.
Every penny raised goes to the care of the pets we have in rescue.

This beautiful black lab girl is looking for her forever home! Ziva is a ond year old Lab. She does well in her kennel and we are working on house training. She has not been cat tested. Ziva does well with other dogs and children.
She does need work with jumping up when she's excited. Other than that she's a sweet girl just looking for a loving family!

Today was a GREAT day for adoptions!! Ten wonderful pets found their new furever homes, and just in time for the holidays!! Thanks, as always, to our adoption partners, PETSMART-Valdosta Mall and their incredible management team and super helpful staff for going above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need! Pocket is looking for a little love this holiday season. Pocket came into rescue when his human momma died unexpectedly. Pocket is a loving boy ,he does well with other dogs and has ignored the cat so far. He has not been kid tested . Pocket is a minI doxie mix 5-7 yrs old. Hw negative and current on all vetting.

Another Saturday is under our belts, and another eight precious pets have found furever homes!! Thanks to everyone who came out to meet the furkids, and a special thank you goes out to the folks who chose to adopt, not shop! We also want to send out some love to our adoption host and partner, PETSMART-Valdosta Mall! Thanks to Terrell Godwin and his awesome staff for always making us feel like family!

What a beautiful day for adoptions!! We were set up outside today and the dogs as well as volunteers really enjoyed the sunshine and breeze! Congratulations to the furkids who found their furever homes, as well as to their new families!
