During the winter we made the tough decision to stop raising Newfoundlands after the loss of our female over the summer. We decided to start raising Corgis. We are starting with Pembroke Welsh Corgis. The 3 we have purchased have passed their genetic testing. So as long as they pass their ofa hips,elbows, and eyes. We will have Corgi puppies potentially in the fall.

We would like to introduce our 2 new livestock guardian dogs. Skadi and Tyr, Skadi is an 8 month old Great Pyrenees rescue and Tyr is a ckc registered 8 week old Great Pyrenees puppy from our friends The RedBrick Farm. We are very excited to see them grow and mature into the guardians they were born to be.

We have 8 Mangalista weaners ready to go. There is 1 boarling who would be a great potential breeder, all of the other males have been castrated. These will be the last available for a couple of months.

Some days farming and ranching is just tough. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. We had a beautiful male female set of mini Nubian twins born late night on St. Patrick’s day. This morning my favorite goat Olive had stuck kids that were unfortunately stillborn. Twin girls, of course. Tonight a sow decided to have her babies and wants nothing to do with them. So we are going to be up taking shifts trying to bottle feed them colostrum from the goat whose babies didn’t make it. Hopefully in the morning one of the mangalista sows will take them as fosters. It’s been a long couple of days.

We have Mangalista Piglets that will be weaned in the beginning of April. We are opening our waitlist for these bacon seeds. We can do unrelated breeding pairs or trios. Or just piglets to grow out for your freezer. (They are much bigger than they are in the pictures). We are located in Vale Oregon.

Someone has a rare opportunity to own the last Newfie puppy we will ever have. Almost 5 month old male Akc Newfoundland. Landseer coloring. He is crate trained,knows sit, is mostly house trained with a dog door. He was the only puppy born alive in his litter, he was bottle fed after his mother tragically passed on right after his birth. He is very friendly has been exposed to kids,dogs, cats and livestock. He can go home with full Akc registration or limited. I had planned on keeping him due to my own health issues not long after his birth I’ve come to the hard decision to find him a new home. He is not free, please do your research on the cost of these dogs before you inquire about him. I will take updated pictures this weekend.

We were having issues with Eagles and Hawks carrying off and eating our baby piglets. We made friends with the local Ravens by feeding them near the pigs. Now they protect the babies from the other birds.
