From last week I had my first out of the house visit with Miss Maggie! This was the first leash exercise in public. As she progressed she improved! Her owner is extremely vigilant and very involved with her training!!!

These guys bring me so much joy and it is such a pleasure to continue to work with them! This was the first visit with the three of them together out of the house! It went better than expected. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling the greatest so this was more of a social visit this morning than a training one! Working on distractions and building confidence in the baby!

Today we had a wonderful session with Luca! He has not been to Lowe's in a while so we expected him to be over the top with excitement. Well he pleasantly surprised us!!!! He was FEARLESS. He explored new things, had a wonderful social visit with a few employees and stayed engaged and focused on working the entire time!!! I'm so incredibly proud!!!

There are zero words to express how much this gift meant to me. To know that losing her hurt me deeply, even tho she was not mine. Jen and Dave truly are gifts from God. Alaskan huskies are high-energy working dogs that are smart as a whip; Sam taught me to be a firm leader with her to gain her respect. This dynamic has strengthened our relationship, and Zapata now takes verbal commands from me with ease.
