I wanted to share this wonderful testimonial sent to me from the sweet girl Zapata's mom Lori. Thank you for being so kind.

*EDIT: Lori is a very dear friend of mine from a very long time ago. She pursued her career that she worked so incredibly hard for and moved to Colorado. She is now a business owner and does so many wonderful things to help educate anything wilderness involved. Even from a distance she holds a special place in my heart!!!

Sam is an absolutely incredible dog trainer, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to transform your entire relationship with your dog. That is what she had done for me and my Alaskan Husky puppy, Zapata. Alaskan huskies are high-energy working dogs that are smart as a whip; Sam taught me to be a firm leader with her to gain her respect. This dynamic has strengthened our relationship, and Zapata now takes verbal commands from me with ease. Sam helped me understand and love my dog for who she is and work with her strengths instead of against them. As a dogsled musher, I really appreciated Sam's firm approach. Step #2 of leave it!

Everyone meet Ziggy!!! She is a cattle dog mix!!! She has an abundant amount of energy but boy is she intelligent!!!! Food is here love language which makes learning so much fun!!!! Here is a video of her working on leave it for the first time today!!!

I want to introduce everyone to Pax. He is a 16 week old bernedoodle. In his first two months he has went from "Wolverine" to "Bambi"!!!!! And this has ALL been thru positive reinforcement. This video shows how any age can use these methods!!! The video is cropped for privacy purposes. This is week 5/6 working with this wonderful family!!! I could not be more impressed with their progress!!!! Can't wait to take these behaviors further as he ages!!!!

Wanted to share a really wonderful experience with bear today! Today was our last session of 6. He was INCREDIBLE on his walk. Using a slack leash and engaging willingly!!! I always love the results from positive training!!!

I have delayed in writing this post....mostly because of a struggle for the right words. Turns out there are no right words. This girl has been training with me for 3 years and it devastated me to say she is no longer with us. She had the best personality. She was spunky and quirky. She was loyal and loving. She had every trait you could want. Hearing of her passing broke my heart in so many pieces. There will not be a day that goes by I don't think of you sweet girl. Chase all those frisbees in the sky!!!!!
