Please help us give a warm welcome to the newest member of our Redwood Team - Dr. Sian Wallace!

Dr. Wallace obtained her BA in biology from Mount Holyoke College and her DVM degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She was awarded membership in Phi Zeta Lambda, the national veterinary honor society which recognizes graduates in the top 10% of their class.

Dr. Wallace has special interests in ophthalmology, internal medicine, and ultrasonography. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

If you see her at the hospital, please say hello!

A male weedy seadragon laden with fresh eggs. Like their seahorse cousins, it is the male of this species who becomes pregnant. The female transfers their fertilized eggs to the male's tail. This is where they will remain until hatching.

Weedy seadragons are listened as a Threatened Species by the IUCN. Flinders pier is a genuine source of shelter and sanctuary for these fish. The pier is under threat of demolition. Please support the plight to save Flinders pier here: Save Flinders Pier
